Unfortunately, given the nature of EUROPE as a whole comprising different countries each with their own IMPORT REGULATIONS and well as EU REGULATIONS being interpretted differently by the respective EU MEMBER COUNTRIES caution here is indeed warranted ;)

Even where a substance is perfectly legal for import it has been known for CUSTOMS officials to be overzealous and hold the item... I think the saying "Better Safe Than Sorry" applies here :)

Therefore, how I would propose that we handle the shipping to EUROPEAN participants is that BY DEFAULT I will mail out the PRL SAMPLES in the same manner in which I dispatched the COLURACETAM samples, wherein anyone can OPT OUT by sending me a PM MESSAGE requesting as such, in which case the package (including its CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORM) will instead be labelled specifically with its SYSTEMATIC NAME; however, please kindly note that in such instances I cannot be held responsible if your country's CUSTOMS seizes the package. It should be noted that a couple of people chose to do this for their COLURACETAM sample and whilst one person did receive his, the other DID NOT and it is my understanding that CUSTOMS seized the package, even though it was not appropriate for them to do so ;)

The package in all instances will be labelled "SAMPLE - NOT FOR RESALE" so as to distinguish the fact that it is NOT a commercial item; and I would recommend that Q does the same for all the packages that he dispatches (wherein he likely already intends to do this) ;)

why not send it as a personal letter, in an envelope with hand written name and address, just like some random letter? there's such a low weight of the substance it would fit in a letter envelope quite easily and i doubt any customs would open that?

Not sure if it makes a difference for customs, but when I ordered sulbutiamine the packaging said NOT FOR CONSUMPTION - ONLY FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES

By this I take it you ordered from NovoChemy. And they ship it ONLY FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES for liability sake and NewStarNootropics does the same thing.

Because with some customs postal items are put through a SCANNER (like your bag at the airport) so as to reveal what is their contents... and a PERSONAL LETTER containing POWDER would certainly draw undesired attention ;)

Could someone please explain why my posts keep receiving "negative" votes from other members? All I asked was if someone would be interested in splitting their dose (as well as the cost) with me.

Or "maybe" its because you talked about PRL-8-147 while the thread mentions many times that its actually PRL-8-53, please do bother to read the thread before posting.

btw found this site http://www.guidechem...51352-87-5.html seems to be like a price comparison site retrieving price quotes from multiple chemlabs at once, if its too late for this, maybe its still worth trying for one of the other group buys going on.. :)

ScienceGuy, did You send coluracetam to Estonia or Finland? For me it seems the best way to receive packages from UK is this personalized envelope with powder pouch in it. No other way has worked. And as far as I know the small letters aren't scanned only the narco dogs are used and only the big objects are scanned to find weapons and stuff like that.

Actually, it is quite typical for a whole bunch of mail, including small packages and envelopes to be put onto the conveyor and through the scanner... and they look for evidence of CONCEALED DRUGS as well as other things, which includes POWDER... for example AUSTRALIA is one such country where this is standard practice... :)

In my experience absolutely the best way to mail this sort of thing is by actually DECLARING that the package / envelope contains a POWDER, but simply list it as something that won't cause the item to be held such as L-CYSTEINE or ZINC OXIDE etc... I should point out that technically NO customs should in fact seize PRL-8-53 as it is not on any of the lists of RESTRICTED or PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES and it is a SAMPLE NOT FOR RESALE and hence not a COMMERCIAL ITEM... however, the problem is that CUSTOMS do not always adhere to what should or should not be held / seized unfortunately... ;)

Basically, I am happy to ship it however you like... PM me if you want it shipped other than the DEFAULT SHIPPING METHOD that I have previously outlined in this thread, and let me know how you'd like it shipped. :)

And to answer your question I have shipped items like this to FINLAND but not to ESTONIA and when I shipped to FINLAND it was as per the DEFAULT SHIPPING METHOD that I propose. ;)

Assuming this chem is teh shit and works wonderful, do we know any company (i.e. NSN, Liftmode, CH, etc) that are willing to buy some and start reselling? It will be more expensive (but probably not by much) but will save a lot of hassle.

Stupid me :(. For same odd reason I thought that You meant to declare that the package contains the powder of PRL-8-53. Sorry again and wholehearted thanks for explaining. Method purposed by You (now when I understand it) is the best way and I no longer want to change it.

Q, did you order it on Monday as you had planned? Also, how long did they say it would take to get the compound to you? (i know 4-8 weeks for us based on location. curious about the lead time from them to you though).

Thanks much

I have a chemist friend (also a well-known member here) from Poland who would like to join in, if possible. He may be able to provide an analysis of the sample, too. :)

Anyone from the European distribution that would be happy to split their sample?

My prediction -

5 weeks of variations on a theme of people asking 'are we there yet?', followed by Q responding 'if you kids don't cut it out, we'll turn the car around and no Disneyland for anyone.'

:)

I hope everyone here understands that when we find the groundbreaking nootropic(s), it's something that never can be released to the public. After all the hard work and dedication we've put down studying various drugs, why should the public get a free ride to ingeniousness? Also, the sole purpose of becoming more intelligent is that you get more intelligent than the people around you, right? I hope everyone understands this and doesn't go tell their friends first thing...

These forums are watched more than you might think. Everything worthwhile here has an increasing tendency to get into the semi-mainstream pretty fast. CILTEP is a good example of that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it being pimped by Tim Ferris?

As a matter of fact we do have one maybe two unclaimed spots but one for sure. With all the confusion and multiple payment methods one spot was left unoccupied I will send him a pm shortly.

What's the true chemical name for PRL-8-147?
I assume that for prl-8-53 it's 3-(2-benzylmethylamino ethyl) benzoic acid methyl ester but for prl 8-147

It looks like you guys ordered PRL as FREE AMINE, but in publication there is described its HYDROCHLORIDE SALT.

Its known that non-protonated amines tend to rapidly absorb moisture and CO2 from atmosphere forming carbonates, and are also much less stable. As an exeample - amphetamine is a liquid, but its hydrochloride, sulphate and phosphate which are used in vivo are well defined stable crystalline substances.

iirc, Tim Ferris just "pimped" one thing in the CILTEP stack and he claims to have heard of it from a "hacker" (lol).
