No way, they say it's new and all the PRL was created at Creighton University afaik.

Please clarify one thing: how many doses are in 2g of PRL 8-53?

Ah ... Never mind my question above ... I just saw Amorphous' answer a couple posts back. Thanks.

The study which was done had a dosage of 5mg for every test subject, but the patent mentions that the dosage is 0.01-4mg/kg. So that could mean 5 doses (100 kg person, 4mg/kg) or 2000 doses (100 kg, 0.01mg/kg), but I would guess that 5 mg would be enough, thus 400 doses.

I guess my main concern is how can we be sure without 3rd party testing to verify identity and purity of the substance?

I hope everyone here understands that when we find the groundbreaking nootropic(s), it's something that never can be released to the public. After all the hard work and dedication we've put down studying various drugs, why should the public get a free ride to ingeniousness? Also, the sole purpose of becoming more intelligent is that you get more intelligent than the people around you, right? I hope everyone understands this and doesn't go tell their friends first thing...

Then in that case you should do a private research and patent it.
If everyone gets to know the effects of such molecules it's better for everyone as it will be even more known and prices will drop significantly, that's supply and demand.
Not everyone will get to know this, who knows piracetam really? Even piracetam is unknown to most of people.

Sadly we're not going to know much about the compound before someone gives it a try, one of the researchers (Nikolau R. Hansl) is now deceased : http://www.legacy.co...325#fbLoggedOut
His wife is called Adele which corresponds to the third researcher called Adele R. Hansl.
However the other one (Beverley T Mead) seems to be still alive but has retired :
http://www.healthgra...rley-mead-wc44n
They're both from Omaha so it's probably them who worked on that stuff, maybe someone in the US can contact Beverley T. Mead, we might get precious information from him.

Hey anyone who may have contacted the persons mentioned, or others related to the PRL discovery, above could you please pm. Very interested to hear what you may have found.

Unfortunately it appears Beverley died in 2009. This online newsletter contains a memorial.

I have not found much about Adele yet. I'll keep looking.

The intention is to have the CUSTOM SYNTHESIZED PRODUCT independently tested by a reputable third party laboratory. I will organize this and will likely be able to call in a favour such that it is done free of charge :)

That's a good plan, thanks.

Something I don't understand about PRL 8-53 is why after 30+ years of the original research (which claimed truly extraordinary findings), no follow-up studies have been done. It's as if it dropped completely off the map, and if it wasn't for a brief shout-out in a pop-sci book, no one would know about it today.

I've sent an e-mail to Adele Hansl (as she was called then) which includes that question. Hopefully I will receive something back soon, but she is old and who knows how much she'll either remember or care about these particular compounds enough to reply. I'm not going to hassle her if I get nothing back.

Thanks for doing that. Hope she responds. You'd think she would be taking it herself.

If there were the most powerful memory enhancer do you think it would be sold to everyone?

There isn't a powerful memory enhancer on the market as we speak. I guess we'll know soon though (in 2 years if you have the patience to wait for the clinical trials ).

Have you heard about mem1414 which had been already widely researched by 2003? That is 10 years ago. It was proclaimed to be the super memory drug. Where is that shit now? On the market? Don't trust to that bullshit that the so called "scientists" tell you. They never keep their promises. They work for the rich ones despising people like we.
They want you to live with the hope that your life will change to a better side when some chemical shit (new drug) will come out. But man, don't be so naive. Such drug will never make its way to a common market for two-feet cattle like we.
Lies in the so called "scientific" and actually satanic world is a commonly used method which is considered a norm. Morals is obsolete. Have you heard about ampakines? Some 5-6 years ago they were considered to become a new miracle. Now they are on the market. And what? Just a new commercial bullshit with the same level as racetams. The scientists no longer work for two-feet cattle. They are paid by the narrow group of people who are rich of course. And those who are rich are parasites or call them a virus which will never want the two-feet cattle to be clever. Leave your naive thoughts aside and return to reality!

Actually, what'd really be nice is a drug that will help me selectively forget some things! I'm plagued more by things I'd sooner forget than things I can't remember. Perhaps cognitive decline is actually nature's merciful gift to us to help us cope with all the traumas and regrets we've accumulated in life.

re: previous post about scientists and satan;
glad there are trolls here too! I actually like trolls. had friends who collected them! scientists (a rare breed) can be some of the only folks left on this planet who are actually in the pursuit of knowledge and not money. mathematicians and musicians too but i dare put us in the same category. dont give me that "satan rules" bs bc nobody wants to hear it! do you think newton sat in the gym clapping in time to the echos for pursuit of money? he did it to figure out the speed of sound! once a person finds the beauty in nature mathematics chemistry science music etc....., no money can bring them to the side you tell us about. also memory drugs are probably not the way to go. look at the people who can recite pi to 40,000 digits! most of them are not happy or successful in life. they are usually autistic! i think it may have been a blessing that no lab could synth it for our group. as for using dual n back tests... how about we see how the users are feeling about life after a week of using? thats the real test! 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406 and some more bs!... ive been trying do drink it out of my head, or better yet... make some real connections instead of holding data like a fleepin hard drive... the elite you speak about are not hiding anything from us. its all in front of our faces.

Hello. I'm new here but I'd be eager to try a 1 G sample (if the effective dose is indeed a mere 5mg).
