PRL-8-53; was: PRL 8-147: The Most Powerful Memory Enhancer?

It's so frustrating trying to read through user experiences with the group buy talk. It makes it impossible to read for myself.

Up to 58 pages. I couldn't read this. The thead title sucked me and then I got annoyed with this and just googled it for more details.
For those of you who want a basic summary:
http://nootropicshac...3-and-prl-8-147
Basically no research on this for over 20 years.
It seems really strange to me that a drug that was designed 30 years ago was that effective and yet was never developed further.
I think it would be good of there was a separate thread with user experiences. I also agree with previous suggestions that there should be a group buy section of the forum.

Sorry, just found the user experience thread! Still think a separate sections for group buys would be good.

Sorry, I know this sort of questions are not liked here very much.
But it is such a pain in the a** to scroll through countless posts regarding group buys, seller discussions and stuff like that if you´re just on a search for the correct dosage information.
Would someone please tell me how much of the substance should be right for a initial dose and how much I could go afterwards safely?
Also some information regarding the interplay with other substances (especially: Sunifiram, Oxiracetam, Fasoracetam) would be nice
Sorry and thanks in advance
Greetings. There is another thread which is much easier to wade through, here: http://www.longecity...-user-feedback/
I suggest starting with 3 to 5 mg. Apparently it's safe at much higher dosages but for now it's probably best not to go above maybe... 20? I don't know, this is arbitrary, but some people have been using more than that. I've never gone above 5 and I've noticed effects which I reported in that other thread. And yes, the group buy chatter is irritating as hell. I don't know why that kind of thing isn't handled in private messages. It's like when people click "reply all" to a group email, only to say something like "OK."

So I'm thinking we're missing an opportunity to organize something to estimate or maybe even determine the long term safety profile of PRL853 the and I have some questions.
So as I understand it, this study was done at a college? Would it be the case that they used students? Perhaps we could seek to assistance from an alumni association or registrar to see if we can find people who participated in this particular study and see if participation correlates to any disease or absence thereof.

Oh man, fuck it, my brain is fried. It takes so fucking long at the higher levels, you have to keep going through the tiles and memorizing so many different "rules/patterns", which are off limits. I'm satisfied, I'm not playing again unless it's for an experiment. Time to vape, eat, and watch a film. I'll do a write up later.

So it improves visual intelligence, intranasal administration makes it to the eyes. I'm wondering if it could be administered directly to the eyes...

I don't think it's visual intelligence, necessarily (Unless you mean related to some aspect of memory). I think it may have to do with executive function and the prefrontal cortex, which is very exciting. Here's a conversation I had with someone which sheds more light on my research and theory: http://i.imgur.com/aMWXsmK.pngAlso, PRL-8-147 may one day become available: https://www.reddit.c...nt_code/cxup7vv>MisterYouAreSoDumb Ceretropic & Nootropics Depot 3 months agoThe daughter of Nikolaus Hansl was having some health issues. So she was out of touch for a while. I think she found the structure of PRL-8-147 in some papers of his, though. I will have to circle back around with her, and see if we can get that info.>Dude, I totally want to test this intransally and see how the results compare to my PRL-8-53 experiment: http://i.imgur.com/xe2i6Mi.jpg?1 I want to try it with this as well: http://www.humanbenc...om/tests/memory Maybe stack if with a good dopaminergic stimulant (2-fma was my favorite) to ensure full ability to maintain concentration, cognitive endurance, along with a choline supplement. The results could be unparalleled. Actually, with Debonaire's suggestion of using a vinpocetine (Powder city has it) solution intranasal may not be necessary: https://www.reddit.c...gual_absorbtionVery exciting for anyone interested in the potential of this compound.
PRL 8 147 may be available soon; that's fantastic.
Btw, Bukujustu have you try PRL + Suni?
EDIT:
Or PRL+Pramiracetam?

Wth? ha
As someone who has used PRL a decent amount I would strongly discourage anyone from putting this anywhere near their eyes. Even intranasal burns like a mofo and I wouldn't encourage long term administration through that route. Just a friendly warning. =)

For those how are interested, I was able to perform an computer aided target prediction screening for this compound.
From my understanding there is an evidence prl binds to sigma-1 receptors indicating it could be an potential selective agonist.
Nothing can be said for sure but i'll attach the table so that you can make your own thoughts about it.
Hope it helps

How should you interpret the table? Is the score related to the predicted binding affinity? And the probability?
For homo sapiens the sigma receptor's score and probability both seem relatively low.
Did you screen other targets than the 9 in the table? If so, are the ones with the highest probability included; if not, how did you select these targets?

I don't like playing necromancer when the corpse is this cold, but... have there been any updates on PRL since July of 2016?
Did Dr. Hansl's relatives locate 8-147?
Has a mechanism of action been established or at least narrowed down?
Can anyone share their long-term experiences with this substance? Pros and cons? @Strangelove specifically with regards to the NSI-189/PRL combination
Can anyone answer IP3's post? "Did positive effects of PRL on memory persist after discontinuation of drug?"
Is there another PRL thread going somewhere else I missed? I found the User Feedback Thread illuminating but that well dried up in early 2017 and I still have questions
