Is that the same Mercola that sells tanning beds and claims that anything less than 50ng/mL is deficient? right.

Interesting, I will look into that. I have yet to have my levels tested myself. Mercola actually sells tanning beds and a NANO reduced D3 spray, as if I want something I couldn't even get (more than small amounts from fish etc. from food) entering unknown parts of my body. And I believe it's below 5nm which is the size that has general safety concerns.Negative rating? not me. Anyway i could care less, it's impossible to get enough D3 from the sun alone year around and the only other options would be supplementing or tanning beds and i wonder which mercola would want you to choose.
If you look around you will find that 30-35ng/mL is the new sweet spot.
Yes I'd like to see that. I like my Carlson liquid drops (I can feel them) and haven't tried any other brands or forms. Logically though, I can't understand why it should be different than a softgel since the only difference between a liquid should be that softgel takes longer to break open. And compared to dry I wouldn't understand either, since only the form in animal products is fat soluble (needs to be in oil). The D3 in supplements is water soluble so it doesn't need oil. I'm not saying your wrong, I just don't understand why that would be.There is a study published somewhere, which I will try to look up, that when looking at the various forms (nothing to with brands) the form that provided the greatest amount of absorption based on a specific dose was the forms delivered in "Softgels" worked the best.
@algea- I think the Carlosn softgels are the best Vitamin D3 on the market. Nothing to substantiate that other than the response I receive from them.
