SUNSHINEFROST and SCIENCEGUY I think you missed my post there http://www.longecity...post__p__580347 (in this same page) that's directly about the NSI-189 group buy.
(About handling of shipping expenses)

Well this looks like we've gotten very close to finalizing the whole thing!
5450/40=136.25 USD per person
But this does not take into account the more complex question of the shipping expenses, which are going to vary a lot between the different participants (unless I'm missing something)

Considering, for instance, EU participants : Should we each add to the 136.25 the cost of shipping to our own destinations and send this individual total amount to Sunshinefrost's payitsquare, and then he would proceed to factor the total of these shipping expenses for EU participants into the amount of money to be wired to Scienceguy? Or should each EU participant send the shipping fees to ScienceGuy later? Are you Scienceguy (and sunshinefrost) going to assume the hassle of packaging and dispatching each EU participants share withtout compensation? Etc
But then I assume you've already figured out a working formula with the coluracetam experience.

Thanks DAOUDA,

You are quite right... the matter of shipping costs need to be addressed ;)

How I propose we handle this is as follows:

1) SUNSHINEFROST compiles an updated version of his PARTICIPANT LIST that confirms WHICH COUNTRY each participant lives in and hence WHICH COUNTRY their package will be shipped to

2) Each DISTRIBUTOR then posts what will be the SHIPPING COST for each PARTICIPANT that they are responsible for; and this informs all PARTICIPANTS what is their respective SHIPPING COST that they need to pay to SUNSHINEFROST in addition to the cost of their order quantity of NSI-189.

For example, I would post the shipping costs for all UK and EUROPEAN PARTICIPANTS depending on their location... wherein I can already say what will be the SHIPPING COST for UK PARTICIPANTS, namely GBP £6.22 which is the cost of ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY (= Next Day Trackable Delivery) ;)

Thoughts? :)

Yes, thats how it functions. Everybody pays with their credit card into a group that we set up on payitsquare and the organizer links this group to his paypal account. All the fees will be charged to the participant's .... I think it's like 1$.

Does that mean I myself have to set up a PAYITSQUARE account and be the 'organizer'?

Or can YOU be the 'organizer' and arrange for the group to be linked to MY paypal account?

Sunshinefrost, may I suggest you stay on as the head organizer?

ScienceGuy is our financial sponsor so lets not burden him with the logistics. And.. of course, I'm happy to assist with the organization if you need help.

I am happy to help out with regards to managing the shipping of NSI-189 quantities to individuals in the UK and EUROPE; as well as posting details of what would be the respective shipping costs for these participants that they would need to pay in addition to the cost of their NSI-189 quantity... but if you guys can please kindly handle all the other organization stuff that would be fantastic :)

okay. for now i say that we should devide and conquer. Let's focus on placing the command. For that to happen, you need to create a groupe on PAYITSQUARE.com and become the organiser. From there, tomorow, EVERYBODY pays an equal amount + the shipping that will be needed from the lab to you (if any).... so 136$

after this, you can order the product..... then will have 5 months to figure out who ows what to which of us 3. In canada i will use the INTERACT system which allows me to email money transfer for minimum charges.

how about that ? can we deal with shipment after we order ?

I was hopping that people could start paying tonight .

Has the payitsquare group been setup yet? I'm ready to pay now if the payment processing has been worked out.

Yes, I think that figuring out the SHIPPING COSTS after we order is a great idea; since, as you say we will have 5 WEEKS to work it out :)

I'll get cracking on with setting up PAYITSQUARE ;)

[regarding Kyle and Sub-RX posts above]Hey I hope it's not gonna be a speed contest because with the time difference and all I won't be able to pay until much later. I just want to be sure the first 40 people on the list on the previous page have a guaranteed spot and given at least 24 hours to pay.
I guess such a rule should be set to avoid terrible frustrations and possible feelings of unfairness. 24 hours (or more!) for the first 40ppl on the list to pay as soon as the payitsquare link is given. After that payments from anyone on the list are accepted on a first come first served basis until the 40 spots are filled. What do you think? There are participants from various continents...

I agree that we should give priority to active and dedicated participants.. so perhaps we should also set a deadline on the "time window". Is a 72-hour deadline to pay too unreasonable?

Hmm actually looking at that list it looks like should rather worry about NOT getting to 40 participants. There are only 43ppl on that list, and we can probably take scienceguy out of it since he's gonna have his very own 100g share "aside", so that's 42ppl + Kyle Mcgill that's 43. So we only have 3 "reserve" participants in case some on the "priority list" decide to opt out.

A 72 hour window is a good idea due to time zone difference and you need to give people a chance to check there email so they can see what going on. You may wont to message everyone on the list with the details but seeing that there is a message limit it would not be possible unless a moderator removes it temporarily.

I will be paying as soon as the payment link is posted but I won't be able to provide a shipping address yet since I will be moving soon. I don't expect this to be a problem, though. All we need is an email address to communicate.

USA btw.
