Any idea how long NSI-189 should remain stable? If I wait a few months before I try it, can I be confident that it will retain its full potency?

Sunshine or ScienceGuy, is it too late to jump in on the buy? I'm most definitely interested. I'm from Canada Btw.

I can't imagine a better way to spend some $131. Priceless return on such an investment.

Just curious here, won't the "20% growth in hippocampus" pose quite serious risks if your hippocampus is already at a normal size?? Where will all the extra material go?

Cant't you get surgery to widen your skull? Isn't that what they do when the pressure on the skull gets to great?

Anyway, apparently my PayPal account was'n verified (thought I did it earlier), so I couldn't link it to the Pay It Square account. I'm working on it.

IIRC observations concerning NSI-189 induced neural growth were made in subjects that had HIPPOCAMPUS ATROPHY - condition found in DEPRESSED mammals and PTSD sufferers. So its more growing back to normal state, than above 100% brain situation.

Neuralstem Inc. also lists "Nootropic" as one of the viable results of NSI-189 administration. One would assume that 20% hippocampal growth might not necessarily be direct size, but rather number of neural connections as well. Seeing as it's in human trials in non-depressed patients right now, with no abnormal data (from what we know so far) it's likely to be safe. Obviously we don't know any long-term ramifications of this yet though...

Intracranial space isn't full with our brain. There is still a good amount of free space available.

Dihexa is extremely speculative and it's unclear what benefits such a potent synthetic form of BDNF would confer.

Isoxazole-9 is interesting and appears relatively safe, but there is limited research into the agent and no human trials.

If someone were to force me to choose between ingesting one or the other, Isoxazole-9 would be my choice.

My uneducated gut feeling tells me that dihexa could be less risky than isoxazole-9 :
If this dihexa peptide is nothing more than a potent BDNF analog, hasnt it got great chances of having very low toxicity? (besides the unknown effects of the intense BDNF like activity)
I know that all azole antifungal drugs are quite hepatotoxic and can present many adverse effects not limited to liver failure, it maybe has nothing to do with it but isoxazole being an "azole", doesnt it carry some more probable potential toxicity?
Someone actually educated enough please enlighten me

I think the fact that dihexa has to be kept in cold storage will be a problem for a group buy.

Sorry, I was wrong about peptides degrading rapidly WHILE they are in transit.

Peptides are usually packed by suppliers in vacuum dried powder, and thus do not change their property for years. After it's been dissolved it in water it can keep for days or weeks. Plus you can get your supplier to split the order into aliquots (something suneshinefrost may want to look into even though NSI isn't a peptide) so that you don't have to divide it up for other members of the group buy yourself.

No CAS? Isn't that a pretty big obstacle?

An obstacle, yes; but not insurmountable ;)

OK everyone, I now have all the necessary information from the EUROPEAN CUSTOM SYNTHESIS LAB :)

Details as follows:

MINIMUM PURITY: 99.5%

LEAD TIME: 4-5 Weeks

PRICE: US$ 54.50 / GRAM (for 200g order quantity)

Hence, for comparison purposes the price works out to be US$5,450 for 100 GRAMS

To be honest this is about what I expected it to cost from a reputable manufacturer ;)

N.B. I should add that these guys already have the SYNTHESIS ROUTE worked out, and hence do not need CAS

Thoughts? :)

BTW I am not adding anything whatsoever onto this cost and would intend to post online a copy of the PURCHASE INVOICE (as I did with COLURACETAM) ;)

Just FYI :) also, don't bother asking me where I got the above quote from - they quoted me $4750 USD for 2 grams. Haha, gtfo.

I might have to sit this one out. Someone can take my spot. This should also hit the market soon.

I found a new article about the outcommings of the 1b Trials for NSI-189... they now started the third cohort in escalating dosage tests (40mg 3x daily)

NSI-189 has been shown to stimulate neurogenesis of human hippocampus-derived neural stem cells in-vitro and in vivo. In healthy normal adult mice, NSI-189 stimulated neurogenesis in the hippocampus and significantly increased its volume, apparently by increasing its synaptic network after 28 days of daily oral administration. In mouse models of depression, NSI-189 significantly improved behavioral responses associated with depression. In humans, NSI-189 may reverse the human hippocampal atrophy seen in MDD and other disorders and reverse their symptoms. This program has received significant support from both the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Are you talking about NSI-189? Because it seems you werent on the list of participants (or I missed something)... And NSI-189 wont be available on the market for at least 2 more years

Shit, considering the FDA and all their shenanigans, probably longer than that. That's why group buys on longecity here are the shit. ;)

Great find!

"The efficacy endpoints are all blinded until the conclusion of the trial, but the safety and tolerability of the compound, through the increased dosage in the first two cohorts, remains excellent."

Looks like we wont know any (official) results until the end of the third trial. Or can we use some form of social accelerators to know the data? :)

Well, the cats out of the bag. I don't see why we cant open up the group buy to whoever wants to pay.

I'm interested in the results. If it works out I'll go with a second round of group buy.

Lmao, its not really about secrecy but more about the fact that people are congesting the thread dedicated to NSI-189 with stupid crap. Imagine the nonsense on these last 4 or so pages a year from now.

there is no need to keep it secret, it's not a group buy for meth, there is a ton of forums organizing group buy for research chemicals (ostarine, bimatoprost, melanotan, ru58841...)
at least keep me informed by pm about what's going on ;)
