https://quantimo.do/

only for android? iOS? Brilliant idea btw.

Thank you!

We're working on iOS versions of everything, but it's taking a while due to limited resources. I'll let you know as soon as that's ready.

We do have a couple Chrome extensions, that you could use.

We're also working on the ability to import data exported from Medhelper, which has an iOS version.

Do you do any tracking of your mood or meds?

Cordially,
Mike

So I've been taking NSI from the vlk group buy for about a week now, and so far it looks very promising.

It's tough to tell whether this is due to placebo or not, but symptoms of my depression seem to be noticeably lifting. It also seems to help a little with social anxiety.
And I do seem to get eyelid-twitches from the NSI, though that's probably just a temporary minor nuisance.

Dosing was done via a 10 mg mini-spoon and gelantine-caps, which I much prefer to just taking the raw powder.
Now, however accurate that dosing is, 10-12 mg once daily is my go-to dose. Above that it gets a bit too stimulant-like to me. I may be a bit sensitive to chems in general, so that could be why others take a lot more.

Reading the other reviews, I could see this compound being a superior alternative to ADs, at least for some.

I received it today. I'll need to think about the best way to take it before I start. Currently, I am still taking coluracetam, prl 8-53, artichoke extract, and idebenone. I also restarted lllt 3-4 times a week about 1 week ago, as well as tDSC every now and then. Does anyone taking and doing similar experimentation? Please give me some advice on how to start NSI-189, as well as your experiences

So, I am up to day 10 for VLK's NSI. New neurons take 30 days to settle/process so I don't expect much. So far, things have been pretty stable. No superpowers. :) 40 mg twice a day, sublingual. Once in the morning, once before I start sleeping. Tried 55mg once and had slight headache so that's my limit. I have missed 3 doses so far. I have had a few episodes of more vivid dreams. I usually take a nap in the evening as well. My naps have been more deep in sleep. There was one episode where I was trying to recall something that I had tried (and failed) to remember about a year ago. However, this time I was able to recall it (it was the name of a store). No emotional changes for me (just feel regular like usual). I have been studying some difficult material the whole time. It feels like the level of difficulty has remained the same.

I tried some combinations as well. I am pretty sure the NSI takes a back seat to the effect of the other chems.
NSI + Coluracetam (10 mg). NSI in the morning, coluracetam in the afternoon. I have done this twice. Each time, I feel like I am more attentive but then after 2 hours or so of taking the coluracetam, I feel like I need a nap.

NSI + PRL-8-53 (10mg) . I tried this once. NSI in the morning, PRL in the afternoon. I had not taken PRL in weeks. I felt more 'present' say. Observing more. For example, I remember that the kid crossing the street had grey Nike shoes on. However, this only lasted again about 2 hours. I would like to try this again but focusing on study material.

NSI + Provigil (100mg) + preworkout (1 m.r. vortex). Tried this twice but under stressful conditions. Felt pretty clean energy. Very chatty. Quick thinking but I think more remembering than pure analytical. Like I could reach steps 1->2 faster but maybe not get to step 3 which I could without such stimulation. Again, similar result as happens without NSI.

Other supps (in the morning): MitoQ, resveratrol, aspirin, choline, omega-3, circumin, vitamin C, folic acid, Memex 100. GABA powder right before bed.

Is there going to be another group buy? I'm willing to toss in, and I don't want to miss out on this.

I have been on 40mg of NSI-189 in the morning, and another 40mg the same night. Only side-effects I get are feeling tired. Don't really feel the "benefits" of it anymore that I used to on day one. When I first took it, which was 40mg a day, I got a sense of body and head lightness followed by an increased mood and focus. I still get the increased focus, not so much of a lightness feeling anymore though.

I do know that music sounds a lot better since I have been taking it. I can seem to "feel" the music in my ears. Hard to explain it, it just sounds more clear and everything. :-) don't know if it's worth dropping back down to just 20 or maybe just 40mg a day ? Thoughts ?

I picked up 30grams from VLK in person. He is a top, honest guy and can be trusted 100%. He deserves a big thank you as he has lost lots of money making this happen. I can confirm it is identical to Science guys NSI.

Any source on this? Does it apply to NSI-189? Sounds interesting.

Hm, I thought someone else on this board mentioned it so I kind of took it for granted.

Looking some on the net showed this:

http://www.plosone.o...al.pone.0017689

When Are New Hippocampal Neurons, Born in the Adult Brain, Integrated into the Network That Processes Spatial Information?

:

"Adult-born neurons in the dentate gyrus (DG) functionally integrate into the behaviorally relevant hippocampal networks, showing a specific Arc-expression response to spatial exploration when mature. However, it is not clear when, during the 4- to 6-week interval that is critical for survival and maturation of these neurons, this specific response develops"

"Specific Arc expression response to spatial exploration develops in new neurons over a 30-day period"

I'm reading the post and reading about VLK. He bought (or made?) NSI and lost money on this? I don't know if he's rich, but can't we support him for the hard work. I'm not rich, au contraire, but always willing to share what I have.

If anyone wants to send or sell me some I can test it via FTIR, DSC, melting point apparatus, and maybe pyGCMS to verify purity. If you're interested, please PM me. Thanks!

@kieranA001

Yes I have, but it doesn't bother me. It lasts for two hours max. It find it rather fascinating. If I change dosis I feel somewhat anxious. It's not so nice, but I can handle it. I'm on 20mg in the morning. I did quit the night dose, this feels better.

Hungry Hippo, kieranA001, I'm glad you guys mentioned this.

I have been trying some different doses. 40 mg ... not much.
~50 mg ... now I know what you two are saying. I wonder what it means.

took my first dose today, 20mg partially sublingual.
within 15 minutes i began to notice stimulating and slightly anxiogenic effects. sort of like a feeling of excess energy, moving around/pacing seemed to diminish this feeling.

I'm surprised there weren't more reviews and reports from that first trial, even ScienceGuy was a bit on the quiet side with his long term findings with this one.

Agreed. I just went through the entire 60 pages of this thread, and there were probably less than 10 different individuals reporting their effects. No long term followups in quite some time.

Raza said he would be performing a pre/post NSI MRI to measure hippocampus growth, yet he also hasn't updated in a while. Hopefully this is still his intention.

Sadly, I have seen not a single comparative report of dual N-Back, cambridge brain science scores, IQ tests, etc. I hope some more users will report their experiences.

Taking for about a week. There was a headache on the first day, and blood pressure also seemed to be higher. Second day I had a bad sleep, I decided to skip the night dose and only take the morning doses of about 20mg under the tongue. Everything seemed a little better - at least the headache was gone. Felt a little bit more energized than normal. It will be great if those longer term users can give us some input. I am thinking to take it for about a month.

This post of mine is also in the other protected forum.

“Thanks to vlk, mine came very fast. It seems in appearance, taste and consistency very nearly exactly the same as from the other buy.

I don't take it sublingually anymore. It works better for me with some food. This way, since the short term effects (side effects, really) are less noticeable, the positive effects are easier to work with.

I am taking 30mg tid and will be titrating down to 10mg in a few weeks before stopping.

This drug works very well, but is much more effective with adjuncts of nutrition, exercise, meditation, and self-hypnosis. I'm looking forward to the period of high motivation, drive, and enhanced awareness that comes after stopping.”

I doubt the titration matters at all but I decided to do the cessation that way due to some theories about how my brain responds to changes.

The magic happens when you stop taking it. I think it takes a few months for your brain to adjust to the new neurons. I took it for 4 months and then went away travelling for 2 months. I have never felt better, felt not only intelligent but extremely confident and would wake up each morning with the sort of happy feeling you would get as a 6 year old on Christmas Day. I have built up my dose over time and am now taking 40mg 4 times a day but have gone as high as 100mg 3 times daily with only stimulation as a side effect. My theory being they always test drugs at a very low dose for safety during phase 1 clinical trials. However i would not recommend this to others, it would be best to wait until phase 1 results come out from neural stem before going higher then 40mg three times daily. I did get side effects the first month, headache, insomnia, anxiety but this fades and now when I take it just feel highly motivated.

The first few days for me were amazing, very anxiolytic and calming. But by the end of the first week I had a massive headache and could not focus for the life of me, I was considering just stopping or lower the dosage from 40mgx2 to 20mgx1 a day. I remember day 7 was the worst for me. When day 8 came along, no headaches or brain fog, all the side effects were gone.

Now it's day 19 and I feel like most of the positive effects are gone. No increase in verbal fluency anymore, still anxious in public, etc... You think if I stop taking it for a while those benefits will reappear?

Not sure how long it's been since I stopped taking this stuff. Took it for approximately a month at 20-40mg per day. Depression still gone but did notice one side effect that correlates with me taking this substance.

I developed a very slight "stutter" or "stammer" in my speech. Would got caught up mid sentence and have to pause and start the word over again. Never experienced anything like that before so figure it's possible that the nsi caused it.

Has since gone away almost completely, I'm thinking I took two months off. Started my second run of it today. Will be taking 25mg each morning. Found that two doses were too much for me. But the magic is def back in full swing already on the first day. Can't wait to end this run to get the motivation from last time I stopped. Got 2-3 weeks of serious motivation last time when I stopped taking it. Gotta run.
