Agreed. I just went through the entire 60 pages of this thread, and there were probably less than 10 different individuals reporting their effects. No long term followups in quite some time.

Raza said he would be performing a pre/post NSI MRI to measure hippocampus growth, yet he also hasn't updated in a while. Hopefully this is still his intention.

Sadly, I have seen not a single comparative report of dual N-Back, cambridge brain science scores, IQ tests, etc. I hope some more users will report their experiences.

I was living under the assumption that for a not inconsiderable percentage of the population this chemical induces intellectual godhood and a commensurate change in living patterns. I assume they've dropped off the grid and set up their own utopia with their own far more awesome internet and longecity by now.

As I cast my eyes skyward, I say ScienceGuy, if you're up there, say nothing, and we will know.

What is the next level of Longecity? If you look on Reddit for NSI-189 you can find few more reports from people taking NSI-189. You can also find a thread about http://www.ceretropic.com/ doing a "NSI-189F" synthesis. Doesn't look like it will be cheap.

is anyone stacking NSI-189 with neurogenic co-factors, such as uridine and DHA?

Yes. Though I'm only taking a small daily dose of uridine (50 mg). It became too stimulating and I think would be more so with NSI-189.
Lion's mane 1-2 g
DHA 1.5 g
Taurine I started taking about a week ago. Wish I'd known about it's effects on cell membrane and anxiety before I started. I highly recommend taking 1-2 grams of taurine per day. It is very likely to eliminate that introspective anxiety that a number of people have complained about. Though I experienced that also, it didn't bother me much. Taurine is also very cheap. But my main purpose with it is to support the growth of healthy neurons.

Neuralstem's phase 1b study for NSI 189 is now complete. We should hear the results in the next few months.

I've been taking nsi for about 2 weeks. Nothing extraordinary yet. In general, I have more energy and feel better most of the days. I tried to take it twice a day because I' ve read that someone taking it 3 times a day, but every time I would wake up in the middle of the night with a headache. I am taking only once a day and will continue for 2 more weeks then stop. I will continue taking this every other month until my supply finished. I am not sure if this is the best way to take this compound. Anyone has any good idea?

Just want to say, VLK deserves so much respect for how he handled the 2nd buy. Despite being screwed over by the first supplier, he still managed to send seemingly high quality NSI 189 within a short amount of time. I am only reluctant to call the compound genuine because we haven't tested it yet by a third party. However, it tastes and looks exactly like scienceguy's batch. I will have no problem donating towards the funds he lost when the time comes.

Seller was Nyles7 and he's still going strong on eBay. In fact, he's sorting the synthesis on the current dihexa buy... He just ran out of NSI-189. presumably he'll get more in the future if he can seeing as it sold so well. Keep an eye on Ceretropic as well, they've got something in the works.

Nyles has just restocked his NSI-189 supply. So you can order more from him now.

Forgive me if it is a stupid question, but I was wondering about something with NSI-189. Many people have said they had positive effects for the first week or so, then got some adverse effects for a day or so after that, then the benefits really came once they stopped the 1 month cycle.

Would it be an idea to cycle NSI-189 for one week on/one week off? I know the clinical trial was for one month, but for what we are after, could a weekly cycle work?  .

For me, the benefits were positive for about a week. After that, I didn't have any adverse effects; I just seemed that the effects were somewhat absent now.  Maybe there is some precursor that's being depleted and needs to be replenished.  I'll probably try cycling and see how it effects me.

what are we after? im curing my depression symptoms, doesn't most people here?...and it helps pretty damn well. no headaches. im 8 days in. i'm for sure not going to cycle one week on/ off. 1 month minimum. it is a miracle molecule, if the effects lasts.

3rd week on NSI 189, I felt very tired and needed more sleep than usual. Whenever I had less than 7 hours of sleep, I would have a bad day and waking up was extremely difficult. The day that I was able to sleep longer ( 10 hours), I was feeling okay on that day. Even power nap in the afternoon wouldn't help much. I hope the coming week would be better for me.

I have no problems with depression or any other memory or cognitive issues, generally being positive and happy with life.  I was simply trying to make the most of my brain. Having improved working memory, decision making, logic, general cognitive improvements would help me further with my career and sports.  Though I have no medical or neurological experience at all, a lot of people on this forum also seem to be trying to make the most of their brain. Will a larger hippocampus help with this???  As I am middle aged, looking after brain health is also of some importance for myself.

Reading the comments people make on how they feel in the first week and after they finish their cycle, I was wondering if a week on/ week off cycle would assist with immediate cognitive aspects as well as long term brain health?
It is just that any negative reports are always in week 2-4 of the cycle???

I recognize the feeling that the effects are somewhat absent. But I'm sure I'll feel a world of difference when I stop. I have still more energy and can sport everyday without feeling exhausted. I still go out of bed at eight a clock. Something that was really hard before I took it. I have my moments of feeling good but also a bit off track. I don't know how this works for you guys, but sometimes I have to realize the bennefits it gives me. They are great. But untill now it's not a cure, but I can have normal days again.

I'm using it for a good month now and 20 mg a day. The improving memory, logic and general cognitive improvements were not really occuring in the first weeks. My thinking was rather foggy. Not all the time, but for several hours a day. It's after five weeks that I notice that my learning is more active and that I remember more stuff and that I can comprehend it more easy. I follow four university courses and the effort it costs me went down. I'm more creative in writing. If I check my scores, there's was a dip in week two and three that I used NSI (I do weekly tests). So, it went down first.

Also very important: with excercise it works better.
