I had quit drinking alcohol about 1 month prior to starting with NSI and it had helped me tremendously to continue to not drink (which i am very happy about), I am 5 months clean off of alcohol at the moment but thats not even the greatest thing about it.
I've found that the stuff seems to diminish cravings for all psychoactive substances, including nicotine, caffeine, benzos, and tianeptine. Particularly tianeptine—NSI-189 seems to vastly diminish the desire to take it. Nice going on the alcohol—keep it up. That's a real achievement, congratulations. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Not in my case. I'm always thinking about fixing the emotional swings with a lot coffeine etc, but i have it under control with everything but coffeine. I'm now 3 days of NSI-189 and replaced it with tianeptine because i got a bodyload of it, I'm not sure if I'm taking to much however. I do usually arround 80mg tianeptine sulphate and i have read most people take 40mg. It really helps my to calm my strong emotions. Tianeptine is really great it helps me to breath better too.
Interesting, so you're actually noticing the anti-asthmatic effects? Because I haven't noticed much in that regard. I don't take even 40 mg per day though, I'm doing something more like 30-35 mg. (standard prescribed dosing)
I didn't notice until yesterday that I had bought Tianeptine Sulphate and not the classic Tianeptine Sodium, lol! Which means I've been dividing the dose into three, rather pointlessly! Aaargh...! xD
Oh well, I'm going with twice daily dosing instead now.
I'm considering increasing the dosage though, because I still have anxiety and slight S-OCD (admittedly less than before tianeptine) - even with the addition of 3,3 grams of the weak NMDA-antagonist Magnesium-L-Threonate.
What do you think, fellas? 40 mg Tianeptine once daily? Or maybe 20 twice daily? I'm hesitant to above the regular dosage, because this stuff IS addictive, and I've read some of the horror-stories.
