Pure turmeric doesn't seem abrasive. It is a ground root spice, like ginger. Its texture is similar to ground cinnamon. When taken orally turmeric can dissolve fatty and waxy substances in your body, like cholesterol or congestion causing deafness. If you have the wrong constitution it might attack the myelin sheaths of your nerves or other essential tissues (again, if taken orally). Not sure how it works here.
are you sure it could cross the bbb? i mean it is made of lipids but still.
also, according to wikipedia, curcumin is carcinogenic.
i'm gonna try this i think but i'm not sure how well it will work. pretty sure i have mild dental fluorosis and my enamel is thin. so my teeth can only get so white because the dentin that shows through isn't white. i wonder if this has anything to do with why it didn't work well for other people here.
iirc my teeth weren't white when they came in. pretty disheatening for a kid just getting his adult teeth.
