Ok more info...
Now it really takes me a long time to sleep. I mean I usually sleep for 9 hours which is already too much (considering the optimal is 7h30mins) but after I started taking MB my sleeping hours increased to 12. WTF ? How to counter this ?
And please will someone explain to me why CoQ10 shouldn't be taken along with MB. Thanks.

I started MB one week ago. I dissolved about 1-2 drops of Kordon MB in a 250ml glass of water. It's about this blue:

I drink about 3 small puffs every day (probably about a ml or so). I'm guessing that's about 60-100mcg. Definitely no colouring of urine and no taste (maybe just a little). I drink 5 days and I stop for the weekend. I don't feel much but it feels good. Could be placebo but I do feel a bit more energetic and confident. A tad more anxious as well. I sleep for too long which is not good but I usually sleep that way so it might not have anything to do with MB.

A bit of a negative effect is that I feel really crampy in my traps and necks. As if I've slept on an opened window. You know what I mean ? Could a be a taurine/potassium/magnesium deficiency too. Anyone felt this on MB ?

I had exactly the same issue with stiff neck and irritability when I first experimented with it. Think it may be lymphatic buildup, but not sure.

I'm also interested to hear more about the CoQ10 interaction. The impression I got from reading other MB threads here was that CoQ10 rendered it completely ineffective; consequently I decided there was no point me trying it. Perhaps things aren't quite so cut and dried, though...

If you look on google patents methylene blue is actually one of the sources of blue toilet water. https://www.google.c...iw=1371&bih=655 Note I think it is completely possible that methylene blue is an effective nootropic, I just thought i would let people with absolutely no money know about this possible source. there are other toilet water colorants as well, yet noting users feel improvements, there is a possibility that certain toilet waters improve cognition as well as prevent disease.

OK I have to say I'm exceptionally disappointed by MB. I finished up taking it twice a day with no effect whatsoever. Everybody here speaks for MB as this is the big stuff. Shame.

I dissolved about 1-2 drops of Kordon MB in a 250ml glass of water. [...] I drink about 3 small puffs every day (probably about a ml or so). I'm guessing that's about 60-100mcg.

I don't know how you're making these puffs or how much liquid goes into them, but if you're right about your total dose being 1 ml of that solution, your estimated concentration is off by about two orders of magnitude.

2 drops 2.3% solution = 0.1ml * 0.023g/ml = 2.3mg MB
2.3mg * (1/250) = 0.0092mg = 9.2 ug (or "mcg") MB

I don't know if you should've expected this dose to give you any effects, all I can say is that so far I've only ever read once about someone claiming cognitive effects at such a small dose (in fact they were talking about sub-microgram doses, which just screamed "Placebo!" to me).

So how much puffs aproximately do I need to make to reach an effective dose ?

Like I said, I don't know what these "puffs" are or how you're producing them from your 250ml glass. People tend to prefer drops when it comes to measuring liquids because it's easier to get at least an approximate value for them in ml, i.e. 1 drop = 0.05 ml.

What "effective dose" means will probably depend on your body as well, but what you could do is to gradually ramp up your dose until you can see a response, e.g. now that you've tried ~10 ug you could try 20 ug next; if you still don't feel anything try 40 ug the next day, then 80 ug etc.

And since your current method only allows you to get a ~9.2 ug dose out of 1 ml of your final solution, you could first ramp up its concentration to where 1 drop = 10 ug, so you can measure your later doses in drops. In this case you would need to drop 22 times more of the original 2.3% solution in your 250 ml glass (so 44 drops instead of 2) and that would lead to:
44 drops 2.3% solution = 2.2ml * 0.023g/ml = 50.6mg MB
50.6mg * (0.05ml/drop / 250ml) = 0.01012mg/drop = 10.12 ug/drop.

That was a pretty nice explanation. Thanks.

Do you have any idea what supplements go well with MB and why does Q10 spoil its effect ? Thanks.

No idea. I'm just starting out on MB myself and I have nothing else going as a "nootropic stack".

Nah, I don't have any priorities regarding cognitive self-tuning through chemistry. Even the MB is just an idle experiment. For now I'm fine with whatever long-term neuroprotection I'm getting from my daily fish oils, though that's by no means a short-term detectable effect to get excited about.

So in essence, nobody here really got anything very beneficial out of their trials with methylene blue?

More like, no one has any idea what to do with it and most people use way too small dosages.
