I'm ready to purchase. If anyone can get me a link to a reputable supplier for 50-100g amounts I'll be ordering as soon as I can. Though, I face the problem of the fact that I have no idea the molecular structure of this molecule(in spite of searching), so even if I got it tested such a lab might not be able to confirm it for me.

Sorry if I missed this in the thread but if anyone has information on the actual molecular structure we are dealing with them send me the links. "Dihexa" sounds like a trademarked name. It definitely isn't the chemical nomenclature. I don't think there are any vendors that can synthesize this molecule if we don't even know what it is in the first place.

Dihexa is N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6)-aminohexanoic amide (http://pubchem.ncbi....i?sid=162064814),
it's mentioned in the patent: http://www.google.co...s/US20130165392

Someone had a toxicologist draw up a formula here http://www.justanswe...ic-tyr-ile.html, but I can't confirm it.
Hope this helps.

what is the current stage of development of Dihexa? Is it pre-trial? what are the plans and time horizon on bringing it to market? which pharma company is funding it?

According to the patent, WSU owns it. Are they going to license it? have they made any statement on this.

Siro, did you purchased dihexa?

First post!

I'm in for 1 gram.
Very interesting substance, seems more promising than Coluracetam and Noopept..
Can't wait to get my hands on it.

The peptide itself doesn't seem to be overly difficult to create, according to the journal article. I am concerned for any mass-distribution efforts that they seemed to favour keeping it at -20C when not being used. This would make shipping and viability somewhat interesting.

Perhaps it was just protocol? They also seem to be using DMSO as a vehicle and mixing it with serum and injecting it into an artery.
The Michael J Fox Foundation research mentioned oral dosing, so it may be worth exploring that particular resarch for more data.

...

The peptides were synthesized using 9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl -based solid-phase peptide synthesis methods and purified by reverse-phase high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) in the Harding laboratory. Purity and structure were verified by liquid chromatography (LC) mass spectrometry (MS).
Serum Metabolism of Peptides

Chemicals and Reagents.

HPLC-grade acetonitrile (ACN), acetic acid and water, and reagent-grade trifluoroacetic acid were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich. Nle1-AngIV (Nle-Tyr-Ile-His-Pro-Phe), d-Nle-YI, acetyl-NleYIH, γ-amino butyric acid-YIH, NleYI-amide, and N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6)amino-hexanoic amide (dihexa) were synthesized by 9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl-based solid-phase methods in the Harding laboratory.

Drug Solution Preparation.

Except for dihexa, all drug solutions were prepared in HPLC-grade water at 5 mg/ml. Stock drugs were kept in powder form and stored at −20°C.

IV Pharmacokinetics

Dihexa solutions were prepared by suspending dry-stock dihexa in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) at 1 mg/ml, and subsequent serial dilutions in 50% DMSO or HPLC-grade water for the final concentrations were specified. Stock dihexa was kept in powder form and stored at −20°C. Quality control samples were prepared by spiking fresh rat plasma with an appropriate dilution of dihexa for the final concentration of dihexa specified, keeping a 10:1 ratio of plasma-to-dihexa solution (final DMSO concentration 5%). The compounds, Nle1-AngIV and Nle-YI-(6) aminohexanoic amide, molecules very similar in structure and properties to dihexa, were used as internal standards and were prepared the same way.

So every study is using an injectable form? We need to figure out oral bioavailbility.

It'd help if we had a known chemical structure.. I'm going to see if I can obtain one.

The MJF study was oral.

I couldn't find one in the actual documentation. Perhaps someone could verify
this structural formula someone on JustAnswer had drawn of it?

The only people who could verify it are the original authors of the study..

Ah, I didn't know if knowing the chemical name, N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6)-aminohexanoic amide, was enough information to translate it into a structural formula, in which case I figured if the drawing was in fact of N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6)-aminohexanoic amide then we'd have our structure. Haven't had any chemistry since back in high school...I suppose there's not a 1 to 1 correspondence between name and structural formula then. I'll keep looking.

i'd like to squeeze on in to this buy as well, if it materializes, for a gram if HED is in the single milligrams, 2 grams if it's 20mg+.
