If you really want a legal OTC MAOI like substance that you take with pea to get the old fashion addy high, I suggest you get fastin-xr to try with pea. hordeine doesn't even compare to the BMPEA active ingredient in fastin's case. Not only that but fastin and other BMPEA containing supplements are now facing FDA/legal actions to prove BMPEA is not just another part of adulterated/illegal designer drug spiked in supplements such as what DS Craze was accused of. and you remember how craze got discontinued right?

Well, basically any fat burning label you read that states it contains Acacia Rigidula will more that likely have BMPEA in it. So far as experiences with this goes, I first took Acacia Rigidula with a supplement called lipodrene for a period of time and that really give me a boost from what I noticed. The Acacia Rigidula in infinite lab's "phenyl core" does same thing too which that one got me going as well. But so far as the top supplement with the best combo of ingredients goes far now, I'd have to say fastin-xr is numero uno! Why I say this about fastin is based on this following link: blog.priceplow.com/supplement-news/acacia-rigidula-bmpea . As you can see, fastin is 2nd in line to have the most amount of BMPEA. The 1st one, jetfuel t-300, just appears soo expensive from the prices I seen online. But if it's one thing I noticed with phenyl core and fastin is that when you add PEA to your system while either of these 2 supplements are in your body, the PEA feeling for me was nothing like when I used hordenine and selegeline with it. I'm telling you, what that MAOI effect of BMPEA does with a PEA high is on point as it can get!

The first bit of graphics in this post was a red light for me. This web page baits with forum like noise and switches to unrelenting hype. There was not one post there except mine voicing the same objections I am here. I hate hype like crazy. Love Drug?? Gimme a break. I have nothing at all against recreational drug use if someone wants to do that but the amounts quoted are probably dangerous for a lot of people. SPAM BAM NO THANK YOU MAN. But hey, all that site needs is a few keys of antisleeze compound........ dispensed thru a 2.5"fire hose.

I was reading up on this recently. I take between 30-60mg at a time no more then 3 times a day sublingually. IIRC 95% of most reasonable doses will get knocked out by first pass metabolism and too much is going to damage your liver which could lead to hepatic encephalopathy and lots of other cognitive decline type of things... I deffinitely wouldn't go nuts. I think the most useful application of this stuff is to stay up and get 30 more minutes of work done before going to sleep or getting out of the post eating lethargy (maybe) to keep your metabolism up. The small doses don't cause euphoria or anything, just wakefulness that won't keep you up for hours like caffeine. Other than that, you're taking some pretty big risks...

UPDATE
So I had trouble getting my phones handset settings so was unable to download and use the HR app. I estimate my HR to be around 120 though. Still wishing I had a way to monitor blood-pressure.
All in all I've had 20 grams of PEA today (a huge amount) spaced 2 to 3 hours apart. I've been able to maintain the high/focus without too much of a come-down. This morning I also had about 3 grams of Phenibut and I'm not sure of the interactions this may have caused although it does seem to have dramatically reduced any Phenylethylamine Anxiety. - The high is best described as "smooth".
I have never tried Adderal, Ritalin or Modafinil but I have done street amphetamines before. This PEA is comparable but does not last anywhere near as long. I will endeavor to get my paws on Hordenine or another MAO-I and try a lower dosage of this highly potent chemical. (Probably try 500mg first and build to the full 5 grams if necessary).
Later tonight I will do one more 5 gram dosage for a total of 25 grams. (Quite Expensive). I definitely do NOT recommend trying this at home or attempting to implement this somewhat careless/reckless experiment.
As an aside appetite is down dramatically so I wonder about the potential of this as a weight-loss drug. I wouldn't recommend it for this purpose but it was an interesting observation nonetheless.
I also think this may be a state of hypo-mania so people with bi-polar should definitely avoid. It's easy to make bad/impulse decisions/purchases on popular auction sites and you feel almost completely compelled to spend every last cent you have. (It seems like such a good idea at the time but in hindsight it more-often-than-not proves otherwise). So stay away from shopping and/or gambling. (Especially online which is so easy to click a button and spend!)

I know this is an old thread but I've tried it a few times.
I'm just going to come out and say it though - people like you taking massive amounts like this and potentially ending up in hospital are what gets stuff banned.
Lots of people use amino acids, drugs and herbs responsibly to help themselves then along come a few people trying to get high and they ruin it for everyone.
Things like MDMA could have had a lot of use to help treat PTSD, anxiety and have helped during councilling (because it makes you talk) until druggies got hold of it.
Anyway, rant over, my experience -
First time 300mg - fast heart rate, shortness of breath, lots of energy, quite chatty and fast thinking. Got a lot done and socialised a lot. Felt like Phenibut when it worked but much, much more stimulating.
Worked out on it easily and felt great, my arms had a nice tingling, lifting was easy and could do a lot more. Muscles felt pumped after and veins were bulging.
Made me very active but impatient. Nice feeling body but not amazing, felt very calm and at ease whilst being stimulated and motivated.
Made my pupils dillate and I had a slight afterglow the next day and got a lot done the following morning.
Next day - did 700mg - felt very little. Mild stimulating, heart rate increase and shortness of breath. Pupils bigger a fraction, otherwise nothing. Did it after food though so that might have slowed its absorption.
I'm wondering if food effects it, whether one should consume it before or after food.
It's worth noting that I did it in the evening and that I dose small amounts of Phenibut in the morning but it's usually worn off 3 hours or so prior to when I did it.
I read Russian research on Phenibut and I remembered PEA being mentioned in it, Phenibut interacts with it somehow, I forget how exactly. So I got it thinking it would provide the slight stimulation and chattiness (for socialising) that Phenibut provided when I first used it. Because now Phenibut just takes the edge off anxiety with no additional benefits like pro-social behaviour and motivation like it used to.
I'm going to do more research on PEA but so far I don't think it's reliable or safe enough to use too often.
On a side note, tyrosine provides some of the motivation and socialisation that for lost from Phenibut. I've notice a decline in both of them since I ran out of tyrosine that I've been using alongside Phenibut for a while after I no longer got those effects from it. Tyrosine is very subtle but you notice when it's gone.

And you can smell it. The stuff tastes horrible but somehow when it's been in your bloodstream for a few minutes you can smell it. Not sure if my body actually stank of it like from my skin pores or if it just works its way around the body to the passages of the nose. Smells similar to wet dog - I have no pets.

PEA is a waste of time.
the high is to short too be used recreationally alone. with an mao-i dosing it right is too dangerous.
It builds tolerance quick, as in once a week use anyways.
drink a beer if you want to escape.

I don't think we're talking about PEA as a recreational drug. Personally, I've used sub recreational doses of it sublingually to get an extra 30 minutes or so of productive thinking time before bed when I needed to make decisions late at night. Sorta like caffeine that won't keep you awake all night or mess up your sleep. Metabolites? also burn calories.
Please refrain from discussing recreational drug use on our forum. That's not what we're here for... at least not until such drugs rejuvenate your mind and body to a state of perpetual youth, then you can talk about them But the stuff you're talking about runs counter to the goal of people on this forum and you'll need alot of nootropic therapies to recover from the drug use I removed from your post. Don't do it.

In my experience with PEA at similar levels(1g) I felt it was a recreational dose. Thus I discontinued usage because the half life was too short at low doses and higher doses do not benefit nootropically.
In my personal opinion PEA is a dead end.
My post came off wrong, I would not advocate rec use nor do I advocate mega dosing nootropics. my mistake.

Problems with PEA are probably that it is way too short acting (that's why the amphetamine has the alpha-methyl substitution, besides it being active without a MAOI) and also seems to be quite heavy on the body - norepinephrine etc.
But thanks for the report, I personally like such detailed first-hand reports and have really no problem in that it is kind of a 'trip report'- wish we would have such detailed ones about all the nootropics!
