Coming up on Monday I will be interviewing Dr. João Pedro de Magalhães of the University of Liverpool UK.

The general theme of the interview will be aging theories, aging interventions, and the cryoprotectant research sponsored by Longecity.

As always, please post any question you might have for Dr. Magalhães here in the forum and I will be sure to work them into the interview.

Dr. Magalhães also recently published this theoretical paper on some programmatic features of aging.

Maybe ask him what watys for defeating the aging process he thinks are with the bigest chances to work

You are lucky, even thought the interview was finished before you posted, I was able to ask a question similar to yours. I asked him what new developments has piqued his interest, what things has he seen that keeps him optimistic about the future. I should have this one edited and posted this week. Sorry for the short notice, but it came together fast.

One thing great about Dr. De Magalhaes is that he is an outspoken advocate for life extension. It was not too long ago that tenure track professors had to hide their advocacy. Not so much anymore.

In the podcast Dr. De Magalhaes covers some of his more recent research and theories of aging, reasons why more professors are not anti-aging advocates, and the state of the cryoprotectant research sponsored by LongeCity.
