QUANTUM ARCHAEOLOGY.

How Science is trying to resurrect the dead.

"All great truths begin as blasphemies."
George Bernard Shaw

  • Micro Map of the past being created.
  • Quantum computers and new maths to calculate detailed histories and memories of everyone dead.
  • Face and body reconstructions a million years old already achieved: mind reconstructions coming.

Things Expected in 2014

"Transgenic monkeys

Posted Image

Several research groups, including a team led by geneticist Erika Sasaki and stem-cell biologist Hideyuki Okano at Keio University in Tokyo, hope to create transgenic primates with immune-system deficiencies or brain disorders. This could raise ethical concerns, but might bring us closer to therapies that are relevant to humans (mice can be poor models for such disorders). The work will probably make use of a gene-editing method called CRISPR, which saw rapid take-up last year." more>>>

Neolithic child cemetery found

January 5, 2014

Posted Image

"A burial ground containing the remains of dozens of children and infants has been uncovered in Egypt by a Polish team led by Prof. J Kabacińskiego of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology in Poznan.
Deep in the desert region of Gebel Ramlah, located near the southern border of Egypt, about 140 km west of Abu Simbel, the archaeologists examined a unique necropolis dated to around 6500 years.
To date, there are no known cemeteries in the Western Desert intended almost exclusively for children, infants and foetuses – some of these fragile and poignant remains were found during recent excavations." more

Triple star system which holds clues to gravity discovered.

Posted Image

Washington: today

"Astronomers have discovered a unique triple star system which could reveal the true nature of gravity.

US astronomers using the National Science Foundation's Green Bank Telescope (GBT) found the stellar system of two white dwarf stars and a superdense neutron star, all packed within a space smaller than Earth's orbit around the Sun.

The closeness of the stars, combined with their nature, has allowed scientists to make the best measurements yet of the complex gravitational interactions in such a system.

"This triple system gives us a natural cosmic laboratory far better than anything found before for learning exactly how such three-body systems work and potentially for detecting problems with General Relativity that physicists expect to see under extreme conditions," said Scott Ransom of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) in US..." more

"Lost" New England Revealed by High-Tech Archaeology

"
New England's woody hills and dales hide a secret—they weren't always forested. Instead, many were once covered with colonial roads and farmsteads.

This "lost" New England of the colonial era has started to emerge, thanks to archaeologists piercing the forests with the latest in high-tech scanners, called light detection and ranging (LiDAR). In the images above, LiDAR reveals farm walls, roads and homesteads hidden within Connecticut's Pachaug State Forest. Dating to the 18th Century, the farmsteads were abandoned in the 1950's." more

People are driven to find & preserve their past. Quantum Archaeology will inevitably bring the past back to life because human instinct is driving it.

It may be that any civilisation reaching technology inevitably resurrects its dead.

http://en.wikipedia....Kardashev_scale

"The Kardashev scale is a method of measuring a civilization's level of technological advancement, based on the amount of energy a civilization is able to utilize. The scale has three designated categories called Type I, II, and III. A Type I civilization uses all available resources impinging on its home planet, Type II harnesses all the energy of its star, and Type III of its galaxy. The scale is only hypothetical, but it puts energy consumption in a cosmic perspective. It was first proposed in 1964 by the Soviet astronomer Nikolai Kardashev. Various extensions of the scale have been proposed since, from a wider range of power levels (types 0, IV and V) to the use of metrics other than pure power."

"Drones can’t just destroy, they can create. Although the military uses of drones are widely debated, less discussed are their potentially revolutionary civilian implications. They aren’t yet widespread, but drones are being used by hobbyists, photographers, farmers, ranchers, and they may even herald an entirely new type of architecture. Last year, Swiss architects Gramazio & Kohler, in collaboration with Raffaello D’Andrea, developed “Flight Assembled Architecture” – an experimental concept structure that employed small, unmanned aerial vehicles programmed to build.

Skyscraper Design Resembles Crumbling Building

This new Bangkok skyscraper will resemble a crumbling building. Designers and architects are constantly pushing the boundaries of skyscrapers’ design. Soon to be constructed in Bangkok is a luxury skyscraper dubbed MahaNakhon. The structure will stand 77 stories high on a 3.6 acre site in the central business district of the city. The look is rather unique as the building appears as though it is crumbling. The architect states “With its distinctive sculptural appearance, MahaNakhon has be..." more

The prcursor to this is Machine Intelligence.

With post human artificial intelligence most human problems, including planet climate stability are solved..I. will enable resurrections, and safety of human existence, there is no more important project area to fund or for governments to commit to.

The sole issue is whether we can contain Superintelligence.

WEARABLE COMPUTING COMING SAT APP DEVELOPERS
"
Wearable computers like Google Glass and the Samsung Galaxy Gear watch may not have caught fire yet, but that hasn't stopped mobile game developers from rushing to create apps for the new devices, eager to seize what they hope is the next big moment in consumer technology.##

Posted Image

Niccolo DeMasi, the CEO of mobile games maker Glu Mobile (GLUU-Q 3.93 0.03 0.77%), compares the potential of wearables to that of Apple Inc.'s (AAPL-Q 545.24 4.26 0.79%) iPhone launch in 2007 - an event that was the catalyst to create much of the mobile app world that exists now.
DeMasi and others are betting that by developing compelling apps designed with the wearables' special features in mind, they can create overwhelming demand for the products.
Posted Image

"A whole new app ecosystem is going to be born," said Shawn Hardin, chief executive officer of Mind Pirate, which will release "Global Food Fight," its first game for Google Glass, this month. "Those who are going to make that happen in a big way are going to be valuable companies because of it, and " MORE

Blue Remembered Earth.

http://en.wikipedia....emembered_Earth

Posted Image
"Blue Remembered Earth, by Alastair Reynolds (Gollancz, £18.99)
The opening volume of the Poseidon's Children trilogy starts with a flourishing Africa 150 years from now and follows the progress of the Akinya family empire over the course of the next 11,000 years. Geoffrey and Sunday, grandchildren of the empire's founding matriarch Eunice Akinya, lead their own lives, one studying elephants in the Amboseli park, the other creating artworks on the moon. They are drawn reluctantly back into the fold when Geoffrey is asked by scheming cousins to investigate a safe-deposit box left on Luna by his grandmother. Eunice may be dead, but it appears that she is still pulling the strings of the empire, and what Geoffrey discovers will determine the course, not only of the Akinya enterprise, but of humanity's destiny for millennia. Reynolds's near-future is so brilliantly extrapolated, with original ideas fizzing off every page, that the reader is left awestruck at what further wonders await in the following volumes. Excellent."

THOUGHTS READ FROM LIVING FISH

Last year the first recordings of living thoughts were made by Japanese researchers.
These will improve with scanning technology for humans, dismissing free-willl and consciousness, which imply non-casuality and have infected even modern physics. While free will and consciousness are correct models when assuming the systems is irreducible, it is not multi perspectived enough to understand ourselves.

Free will is a subjective perspective from inside a system, determined is an objective perspective looking at the system from outside. If causality is insisted upon in every description, there is no part of science. not even quantum theory, that cannot be described by it.

Calculating backwards in time from cause and effect chains, starting in many places in the environmental data bases, we can certainly describe the living thoughts - and all body movements, of every creature that has ever lived on earth. This is not conjecture.
The concept is already proved in de-extinction, where long gone species have been successfully revived. With enough calculation power, the living individuals of that species will be next - with all their memories to the point of death.

There are so many lines tracing back to one event, it must be impossible not to pin point all the past in complete enough detail describe all dead men.

Then with advancing micro-robots to resurrect them in the present in groups.

Resurrection is the implied promise of burial rites and is also implicit in our cultural memes.

Resurrection by science in no way invalidates the central premise of most religions,
which is active veneration of something better & more powerful than ourselves. It rather frees religion from superstition after its long morale-march defiance of the self-evident fact of death and disintegration, which is now philosophically proved wrong.

The science will follow

Let anyone who doubts it lay an argument.

OXFORD - A LIVING DINOSAUR!?
Academics consider retrodiction.

http://www.telegraph...-dinosaurs.html

"British Biochemist Dr. Alison Woollard “We know that birds are the direct descendants of dinosaurs, as proven by an unbroken line of fossils which tracks the evolution of the lineage from creatures such as the velociraptor or T-Rex through to the birds flying around today,” says Dr Woollard, from the Department of Biochemistry at Oxford University.
Dr Woollard specifically mentions Archaeopterix – a 150-million year old creature whose name literally means “ancient wing” – as evidence of “the transition between feathered dinosaurs and modern birds.”
