I wonder if it has sparked anyone's interest if there can be a drug out there or a nootropic regimen that can get the same Limitless NZT drug effect? What a great movie. I'm interested.

I'm assuming Modafinil is our only option.

I think until AMPAkines become mainstream we don't really have a good option
also i don't think that one compound can mimick all of the good effects of nzt we have to combine many to get the desired effect

The drug in the film Limitless is clearly meant to be analogous to Adderall / ADHD meds in my opinion. Which is somewhat obvious by the popularity of such drugs in some NYC professional circles, which are abused for purposes of more work production.

 

But in real life, if you don't have ADHD and sometimes if you do, abusing these drugs can lead to becoming NZero-Limited. 

 

This is also depicted in the film.

 

The end of the film seems to be a pipe dream about making stimulant enhancement permanent.

The only thing closer to that ideal and better than Adderall is Adderall with Selegiline, caffeine, nicotine, and a microdose of LSD. Don't take more than 10-20 mg daily; take frequent tolerance breaks for optimal effects. Adderall addiction isn't a road anyone wants to go down!
 
Light or sparse doses of Eutropoflavin, Lion's Mane, CDP-choline, and bacopa may also help.

 

There's always something more or new you could add to your stack. The question is how far you're willing to go.
