Regardless though our 2K is needed to get to 28K- the minimum for CI and an additional 3K additionally is needed for transportation so we would not be contacted about any of our funds going over and if we were we would specify future charity recipient.

I want to thank everyone who helped Aaron Winborn's wish to be cryonically preserved back when the campaign was run. He passed away on March 24th as he planned and is now at Cryonics Institue. He reached out to the Society for Venturism after reading about Kim Suozzi's Cryonics charity case. His initial letter to the Society for Venturism from 2012 is up on this page about his cryonics charity campaign:
http://venturist.inf...rn-charity.html There will be a published report of his suspension details in the coming days but I heard that it went as optimally as it could for preservation of his brain and body. Sympathy to his family through such a hard time. So sad to lose such a caring, brilliant, loving person. Such loss for his beautiful family and all the communities he touched.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 2pm at the Unitarian Church of Harrisburg at 1280 Clover Lane. Memorials in lieu of flowers should be made to: Hope Loves Company (an organization for children who have or have had a family member living with ALS. His daughter Ashlin attended their weekend camp free of charge annually for the last few years) or to: The Circle School (His daughter Ashlin's and soon to be his daughter Sabina's school). The Drupal community has also set up an annual award in his honor. https://www.drupal.o...n-winborn-award

Glad he passed on and went to the Cryonics Institute before too much damage was done to his consciousness and that the process went smoothly. Very pleased that he his last wish that he wanted so much has been carried out in the way he wanted it. RIP

I wish to bring attention to Neuralstems new technology for ALS sufferers. It has shown promising results in slowing the progression of ALS. I think they are recruiting ALS sufferers for their next phase.
Here are some papers from a quick google search:

The sooner their leading compound is delivered the better. Just keeping up hope.
This chick says the cells are from a fetus aborted 12 years ago at about 2 minutes. It's also in the text.

I know that most don't come from fetuses and embryos as most of them are just thrown away with no hope for recovery and there are only something like 100 legal embryonic/fetal stem cell lines floating around.
The one that page, it was the destination of a link in one of the other articles you posted.
"NSI-566RSC, isolated from an 8-week fetal spinal cord, is a novel human neural stem cell line with robust growth properties and neurogenic potential."

You have found nice and interesting articles about using stem cells on people. Why not add then in the topic below:

If we all gather our knowledge on stem cells used on people, who knows what we can get.

I'm really not all that interested in stem cells that aren't mine or made from me... They will never be the solution that age reversal technologies and cell printing technologies will be and are just a fiat technology that people are fighting over. They've already determined that the cells die and release their contents including hormones etc. We could just grow all this stuff and complex it for the specific genetic needs of the patient and we would have better results without using cells obtained from someone's death.

Alright. But the induced pluripotent stem cells and the cloned embryonic stem cells are made from you.

Those are of interest Perhaps you could start a team/group to work on this?
