I tried 2 grams and noticed a little.
I want to try 4 grams, is it safe? Is up to 8 grams safe?

Thanks :)

What did you notice? What effects are you hoping for? Large doses of histidine might cause a zinc deficiency, if you don't have much zinc to start with. I don't know what the safe upper limit is, but if you take a lot, you might want to add a little zinc. (watch your copper balance, too.) I don't actually recommend histidine supplementation, but I'll assume that you know what you're doing.

It is a little stimulant but not a typical one. I'm testing whether histidine would be a good cure for people with anhedonia or not. I have ZMA (zinc and others) so ill take that with it. But does zinc inhibit its absorption?? I agree histidine is bad for most people, but I think there is potential that some people need it. I never have any allergies, and often find my self "slow". I might be one of those people.
If no one replies I guess Ill just try 4 grams ha.
