This is a little off topic Siro, but have you heard of people building a tolerance to Piracetam? if so, what do you recommend to avoid building a tolerance as I'm enjoying Piracetam a lot and want to make sure its always working for me? I didn't know Piracetam increase metabolism. Thanks for the knowledge?
I suppose anything is possible, though if I avoid taking a choline supp with piracetam, I never really get a tolerance, infact there's an opposite tolerance effect where effects build overtime.
To get the most out of Piracetams effects, I tend to stay away from taking choline supplements. Everytime I take choline with Piracetam, it severely blunts all of the energetic/euphoric effects, while leaving just a little cognition improvement. I find Fish Oil doesn't cause this problem, while actively keeping acetylcholine levels balanced(or so that's what it feels like).

Tuesday:
Took 5g grams of Creatine
600 mg Bacopa in the morning and at night
1 scoop of protein powder: 1 in the morning and 1 at night
5g of piracetam in the morning and 5g by lunch time
1.2g taken with Bacopa at 5pm
Although I slept around 14 hours, I woke up a lot and had intensely vivid dreams where I felt that my dream world was more real than ever before. I used to have dreams where I could imagine the entire setting and go on adventures when I was a kid, but as I grew older, I lost that ability and I seldom remembered my dreams. Now, I can remember how I was dreaming of a medieval setting where four knights were about to be hanged and for whatever reason, I took out my phone to record it - only to switch to the vantage point of one of the knights looking back at me looking at him. Nevertheless, that was a weird moment.
Today:
I took 5g of piracetam in the morning with Bacopa and Creatine and Protein Powder.
5g by Lunch
Still felt slightly fatigued throughout the day and I had to go to a music concert that lasted 4 hours in total.
10:18-12:40 Protein powder, 1.2g of piracetam, .5g of ALCAR, 600mg Bacopa. Had another protein shake an hour into the workout.
This concoction made my stomach sick, but that soon went away as I worked out and the feeling of tiredness gave away to clearheadedness and energy. I was able to do:
5 sets of 8 push ups
4 sets of 8 bicep curls
4 sets of 8 dumbbell rows
2 sets of 5 shoulder presses
16 minutes of abs
2 sets of 3-4 negative pull ups
2 sets of 8 bench press and 8 flies, 1 set of bench dips
around an hour of cardio
2 sets of 8 weight squats
1 set of 20 unweighted squats.
1:15am: I feel energized and ready to do homework, focused, almost motivated. I think I'll stop taking ALCAR right now until I get around another week with piracetam because I want to try it out with fish oil.
On a side note: The fish oil and stuff finally shipped and should arrive around next week. I might also buy heavier dumbbells as I think I'll need to use heavier weights in order to keep getting stronger.
Goals:
Get six-pack abs by 4 month: I'll try to bulk up for 2 months and build strength and then start cutting calories to slowly lose body fat, but still keep my protein intake the same to try and maintain my muscle mass.
Be able to do 5 pull ups/chin ups by the end of 2 months and 10 pull ups/chin ups by 4 months
Be able to do bicep curls/dumbbell rows/squats/bench press with 52.5 lb weights in each hand
Improve in AP Chemistry and Calculus from increased focus from piracetam.
Another Side note:
I started working out around 1/24/2013. I definitely noticed results with me being able to do more sets of push ups, more curls, etc and visually as well with more pronounced pecs, biceps, and triceps. I might bump up the ab exercises to 24 minutes.

2:41 AM: It seems that the piracetam and perhaps the ALCAR made me too energetic to sleep earlier.
7:32 AM: Woke up in the morning and only felt a slight sensation of fatigue. The thing is - compared to when I used to go to sleep at 2:00 AM, I always felt dead tired upon waking up. In this case, I don't. I like that.
Morning Concoction
1 scoop of protein powder
5g of creatine
5g of piracetam
Bacopa
Multivitamin (I take it daily)
I started that work out routine on Monday because a guy pointed out that my earlier routine would not help me build muscle, so I decided to go with the teen workout exercises of Scooby and add on to them. Perhaps, this will help me add more muscle.

This is my stack so far:
Nootropics:
5g piracetam twice a day
Bacopa 600mg twice a day
Alcar 500mg once in the morning
Other:
Multivitamin
5g Creatine 2-3x a day until this week ends, then it'll be 2-3g twice a day
Protein powder 2x a day on rest days; 3-4x on workout days
Starting today:
1 fish oil cap (1200mg) in the morning
500 mg of Choline Citrate
2-3g of Beta Alanine 2x a day
Citrulline Malate 2-3g 2x a day
Except for the capsules and protein powder, I simply plan to measure out each of the supplements and pour the powder into a container and when I'm done, pour the contents into my mouth as I wash it down with water.
I tried Alcar again this morning and boy - I felt much more energized and focused than with piracetam alone despite only having 6 hours of sleep when I normally get around 9-10.

Question, have you ever tried Piracetam dosages as listed on the bottle? I know it's a very sub-par dose but I need to raise the question. I've tinkered with Piracetam at both the labelled recommendation, midway and at shy of 10grams per day with all different types of choline from lecithin to Alpha GPC to Centrophenoxine and ALCAR. I've come to my own conclusions after this year and although research has shown that 10 grams in two divided doses is optimal and perhaps as high as 23 grams is, for me, I find that it's simply not worth the money for the effects it gives me. It's all relative..meaning, money may be of no object to some and I'm by no means rich, nor poor...but I've found it to an inefficient nootropic. I've found Noopept and Aniracetam to both be better for me. As for the Bacopa, is your daily dosage based on research of anecdotal reports from other users? I only ask because I take 600-800 in the afternoon and evening and am wondering if you're following the bottle's recommendations or other sources. I could care less what the bottle's really say as I do my own research and read peoples' reports on the compound so in the case of Piracetam...I've tried everything.
I bought my piracetam from Newstar, which doesn't have any dosage recommendations, so I went off the recommendations of Siro and the ScienceGuy's thread about 9.6g or more of Piracetam a day. I find that I get a stronger and more sustained effect if I simply take piracetam 1-2g every 1.5-3 hours rather than 5g at once, but I can only do that when it's the weekends. As for the Bacopa, I initally went with the bottle's recommendation of once a day since the total dosage was in line with the dosage of other users, but I've increased it to twice a day because it has a more pronounced effect on my mood. I agree with you on the Noopept being more efficient since the cost per dose is much smaller than piracetam, so you'd save more money going with it. However, I already bought a jar of piracetam, and it is enough for me, so I will continue using it. Have you tried spacing our your piracetam dosage, so that you take it more frequently? That seems to do the trick for me; the first time I did that, I had the energy and focus to play video games for 16 or so hours. I find that piracetam seems to wear off more quickly for me, so I need to use it more frequently.

When I do use piracetam, it's exactly in that type of dosing schedule about 3 hrs apart. I don't go near the 10 gram per day dosage anymore because, even after extended use, I didn't notice any more than I did with when taking a lower dose. Not that I don't notice anything at all...I do but I find that the effects are still enough for me to justify dosing lower. Noopept is ok, but after some days on it, I seem to get irritable or it fragments my sleep some. I use it more sparingly these days. I still like the effects I get from aniracetam very much. I doesn't seem to make me sleepy or sedated like some others remark on.
Ahh, okay. The effects of piracetam are definitely pretty subtle, and there are some negatives. When I took piracetam by itself, although I had an increase in focus and decrease in anxiety, it seemed to make me more irritable until I added in Bacopa, which took away that edge. However, the Bacopa led to me crashing mid-day after the piracetam wore off, but it definitely improved my mood. I added in ALCAR and Choline Citrate and that has really helped take away the tiredness from Bacopa as well as synergize with Piracetam to improve my focus and give me a sense of clear-headedness. These last two days, I still have slight valleys where tiredness sets in a bit, but no where near as pronounced as before I added in ALCAR and Choline Citrate, when I required a nap mid-day. The ALCAR and Choline Citrate helped take away my morning lethargy as well and served to wake me up, although I have a bit of a stomach ache for around 10 minutes after I take my supplements.
Another side effect, I've been noticing is that I notice more frequent dreams and more vivid dreams. I get sucked into the reality of my dreams and they feel much realer and more vivid than before, which is definitely a plus to me. I've also been more social and I have not had any depressive episodes since I've started taking Bacopa. I feel like my emotional state has been less dependent on my environment, and has overall improved quite a lot by removing the downs. Now, I don't experience states where I'm extremely happy and feel like I'm on top of the world nor do I have states where I feel lonely and alienated from society; I simply feel content and happy with my life.
Piracetam served to alleviate depression, but only for a few hours, whereas Bacopa kept it at bay where it has only had a minimal impact on me, very rarely bothering me.
Nootropic Stack:
5g Piracetam 2x day
Bacopa 600mg twice a day
Alcar 500-750mg 1x a day
Fish Oil 1200mg in the morning
Choline Citrate 1g a day

I've reduced my piracetam intake to around 2.4g twice a day.
Increased my fish oil intake to 2.4g once in the morning.
Could I be gaining a tolerance to ALCAR or having negative reaction to the choline citrate?

These last few days, I haven't had a problem with depression, but I feel like I'm more withdrawn than before and not as sociable as before. I feel I don't have the energy to have social interactions, but I'm not tired. I also feel like my mind is not as clear as the week before. My mind feels a little clear after I take some ALCAR, but that only lasts for a couple of hours.
I definitely agree with you on this. I have been taking Noopept for about 6 weeks now at ~40mg, and I feel that it does what you described here, but I cannot directly attribute the effects to Noopept.

3600 mg Fish Oil (One cap in the morning and two caps in the evening)
1.6 g piracetam (at night)
Bacopa 600 mg (twice a day)
ALCAR 750 mg twice a day
Forskolin (250 mg capsule standardized to 50 mg once a day) - I think I added this around last week
Other:
Multivitamin
3g Creatine once a day
Protein powder 2x a day
2-3g of Beta Alanine 2x a day
Citrulline Malate 2-3g 2-3x a day before and during work outs
Removing the choline citrate definitely helped and removed the dissociation and unhappiness I had while I was taking it. I think I can conclude that I am getting enough choline from what I eat. I've noticed that I seem to have a worse short-term memory, as I've had increased moments where I am thinking of something, but then I forget what I am thinking about or I walk into a room for something and I forget what I wanted. However, I feel a lot more relaxed and content overall.

I've been meaning to try out noopept for some time now, but didn't want to stop doing something that worked. Now that piracetam doesn't seem to give much of an effect, I'll try out noopept at around 10-20mg a day. Darn, it looks like my 0.01g scale won't work for this. Oh well, I took 3 10-15mg scoops.I didn't seem to notice a bitter taste, but I mixed it with copious amounts of water, and don't really notice piracetam's taste anymore.
