I love Bill's attitude towards aging. However, I'm of an opinion that telomeres are merely markers of aging or health, so I hope he can tell us whether there's any evidence to think otherwise. Also, if telomeres, unfortunately, turn out to be a dead end, does he have a plan b?

Speaking of Plan B, or rather Product B, you could ask him if Product B has been show to be active in any higher animal. My understanding is that the original Product B formulation was based on in vitro screening results that were determined at levels probably not achievable in in vivo. If short telomeres cause a cell to go senescent, then they probably are significant contributors to the aging phenotype. I'd be interested in his rationale for telomere extension leading to significant life extension. Is it just a matter of preventing a significant source of senescence, or is there more to it? What evidence supports his view?

I'd ask him - why is a direct intervention toward increasing telomere length superior to a direct intervention in the sirt3 agonist/ampk/pgc-1a pathway for enhancing longevity? assuming you could only pick 1 approach.

This is a great general life extension interview with specific focus on telomeres. You will hear some unique information. I was flabbergasted after hearing how Dr. Andrews was first introduced to the idea of engineering an end to aging.

I think there should be an alert posted in relevant forums before an interview like this takes place. I would have never known about if it hadn't been for Mind's post in the product section relating to Product B.
I'm sure many users are like me and are unaware of its existence.

Once again when a top researcher was asked what is needed most to advance rejuvenation technology - the answer was unequivocally: money.

Also, Dr. Andrews mentioned that decades of exposure to anti-aging snake oil salesmen are one of the biggest roadblocks to more public acceptance and support of real anti-aging science.
