I'll try to help you by giving you a piece of my mind about the supplements you're taking currently, ok.
I've never tried pramiracetam, but I've had good results with piracetam and aniracetam. It's been a while but piracetam and aniracetam both yielded good results. That includes a clearer head and better overall mood. Good stuff, and I want to try them again. Once again, no experience with the stronger version pramiracetam.
Alpha GPC, initially this gave me a great boost to mental energy. I was talkative, engaging, alert. It was very pleasant as well. Although, over-time I stopped receiving this effect and started becoming depressed. Choline sources are known to do this and my brain might have just been starving for some initially. I don't use it anymore either.
DMAE.. I haven't used this one in at least a year, haha. Initially I think it gave me good mental energy, but I can't comment much further than that because it's been so long. It's not a choline source but actually inhibits it. So the fact that you used it for months and months might actually be a concern. You could have just been at a stalemate using a choline inhibitor and piracetam. Check out this thread for more information:
http://www.longecity...-it-sparingly/. The main thing to derive from that thread specifically is that DMAE should not be used chronically and to make sure you have adequate choline sources before using it as well.
ALCAR. The very much praised supplement and for good reason. A lot of people on this board use it including myself. I typically take 1g right before lunch and I can't recall if I receive any noticeable effect or not. Some users ramp it up anywhere between 1-5g/daily and higher. I wish I had more information on it but typically it's safe and useful for mental and physical energy purposes.
I think you're on the right track by quitting the DMAE and sticking with ALCAR. As for pramircetam you should do some searches and see how much choline or Alpha GPC to take with that for benefits.
