Lostfalco,
Is there anything to these studies, you think?
Moreover, CCH effectively improved HFD-induced hepatic mitochondrial dysfunction, reduced oxidative stress, and activated phase II enzymes. Our results suggest that CCH is an efficient hydrogen-rich agent, which could prevent HFD-induced NAFLD via activating phase II enzymes and improving mitochondrial function.
Hey Groundhog Day, it's kind of hard to tell due to the fact that these studies are 1) rodent models AND they are 2) disease models. That makes it difficult to say how it would affect healthy humans. Still interesting though!

Ah ha!
Now it all makes sense: I've broken out in acne on my forehead, nose, temples, back, and neck! My libido is sky high!
After starting my IN trial, I'd definitely say my symptoms are consistent with an increase in T. lol
I'm not starting from a low base either. I'm a normal, healthy, late 20s dude!
That's really interesting, bossman. Do you have any before and after testosterone numbers by any chance?
Lostfaclo - thanks for directions, gonna make more research on that topic.
You're very welcome.

I already have high testosterone and i prompt to have acné , i always have to be careful about that , i havent tryed IN yet , what r youre thoughts lostfalco ?? Thanks man
Hey rock_zaozz, I don't think i-insulin should raise it enough to be a serious concern. Just keep your doses low, see how it affects you, and raise or lower your dose accordingly.

So based on your recommendations I bought an oxygen concentrator (though not the one you linked, but also a really high quality one). Only played around with it for a few days, but so far so good. I don't seem to get any extremely noticable benefits straight away, but I am using it in a slightly different way. (hint: wimhof). Will try to give feedback later.
I'm looking forward to trying the ibudilast+galantamine soon, if I can get my hands on it. The extreme anti-inflammatory properties really seem like elixir of the gods. I have experimented in cycles with some different things, including the insulin, tulip, etc. and also some very anti-inflammatory compounds usually eaten, but injected in high amounts. Over a period of time I was doing too much to discern what was working so extremely well and if it was a combination/synergy (it was).
Very cool, Noricent! As far as I know, Joe Cohen and I are the only two (other than you now) with oxygen concentrators. Really interested in hearing your experiences. Which one did you get?
Yeah, the ibudilast/galantamine combo is very anti-inflammatory. In fact, so are i-insulin and TULIP. They all kind of come at the problem from different angles so there can def be synergy there.

Alex Mullen, from mullenmemory.com, is the first and only American won the world memory champion. He is a good example of using method of loci and apply memory techniques to study academic materials (medical school). However, 20/10/20/10/20 is a must for the materials that General memory techniques can't be applied.
I'm with you, Amorphous. I've experimented a lot with method of loci over the years and it's a helpful tool but can also be cumbersome and unwieldy at times. The truth is, even the method of loci requires at least 'some' rote memory. That's where I think the The 20/10 Method shines. http://www.lostfalco...he-2010-method/

On the subject of method of loci, I read Moonwalking With Einstein a while back but never got around to building up the mental scaffolding either for a memory palace or for an encoding system like the PAO method for numerical encoding. But the idea of using pre-memorized ordered spacial layouts and visual encoding systems is amazing, and I'd love to get into that at some point. Any resources you guys suggest that are less autobiographical and more tutorial in content than MWE?

I've always had somewhat mixed results with these things but the Dominic System/Dominic Hotel was pretty helpful (if you're willing to put in the time to set it up).
It's based on building a massive grid connecting numbers to letters and then using the first two initials of a celebrity's name to build a huge image library. 11 = AA = Arthur Ashe, action -- hitting a tennis ball; 12 = AB = Andrea Bocelli, action -- singing a high note; 13 = AC = Al Capone, action shooting a Tommy Gun; etc...
You can then connect them to build even larger numbers...1112 = Arthur Ashe hitting a tennis ball into Andrea Bocelli's mouth while he sings a high note; 1312 = Al Capone shooting Bocelli with his Tommy Gun.
The numbers can also be used in simple lists. If number 11 on your grocery shopping list is cantaloupe then you would have 11 = Arthur Ashe hitting a cantaloupe with his tennis racket.
There are multiple ways to use this system (by combining it with the method of loci for example) but that's the basic idea.
Here's a list of celebrities. http://mt.artofmemor...le-names-celebs
Here's the wiki on the Dominic System. https://en.wikipedia.../Dominic_system

I've been discussing i-insulin with a number of people over at healthrising.org lately and a member over there named Hip (props to him!) came up with a list of possible sources for i-insulin for those who don't live in the US and Canada. http://www.healthris...l-insulin.4820/
I have never ordered from any of these places so I can't confirm their quality but I figured I'd share anyway just in case anyone wants to give it a go (I think some of these places may require a prescription). I'd recommend trying Humulin R or Actrapid to start with.

And when they write "continue to work" that is within the guaranteed effectiveness for a diabetic patient, who relies on it being precise. The amino-acid chains breaks down slowly, and it looses effectiveness slowly. It won't stop working overnight, you just need to dose slightly more. With the intranasal application, and not diabetes, you should be good to go for 6+ months at least. Especially if you put it in a fridge after receiving it. Some pharmacies do ship it with cold packs or ice also.

The most important thing is practice. Once you understand the underlying principles, just apply it until you are confident and modify it according to your own needs. Learning the whole concept takes only about an hour or so. However, It may take 3-6 months to become confident and comfortable to apply it to everyday items.

Totally agree. I am only a beginner of using memory techniques and not up to the level yet. However, I've seen some people can remember the whole dictionary in 2 days via some memory techniques. Somehow there is a way to put info into long term memory with less repetition than rote memory. I guess when using rote memorisation, 20/10 is the best way.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that a Longecity user named Autumn is currently documenting her experiences with i-insulin and dihexa here. http://www.longecity...og/#entry789132
She's been struggling with drug-related brain damage for a while and the combo seems to be helping her with stress, internal mental chatter, visual snow, cravings for sweet foods, appetite, and cognition/focus. Pretty cool!

What's up my friends? There's a redditor named bicepts who's logging his experience with i-insulin if anyone wants to check it out. https://www.reddit.c...nasal_insulin/?
As most of you know, you can read about how to make it at home legally for $25 here. http://www.lostfalco...anasal-insulin/
Here's his most recent update.
"*** Sept 13 update ***
Wow, so I'm just in the middle of tuning up my vehicles and hopped on the computer. I needed to update to say that I'm beginning to feel blown away by intranasasal insulin. I've always had a fascination with endocrinology and glucose metabolism, but I never paid very much attention to glucose metabolism and energy production in the brain. I am now.
I postulate that a lot of what we experience as "brain fog" is caused in part by glucose metabolism in the brain. It definitely affects downstream hormone metabolism in the way of ATP and phosphocreatine production as well. When I take intranasal insulin I do not experience any degree of brain fog whatsoever. I wake up feeling well rested, I stay up at night feeling sharp as a tack, and I do not experience any mental fatigue or cognitive slumps during the day. All that I've changed is added intranasal insulin to my daily regimen. I am starting to think that I don't need any other noots at all, but I will keep taking some choline supplements here and there along with noopept and some racetamic isomers for BDNF and NGF production.
This is definitely one to pay attention to, fellas. I now have my baby's momma on it at 20iu twice per day. She definitely has a lot of brain fog and doesn't take any noots. She has her final licensing exam for nursing coming up and I'm going to see how well this helps her study. We both have very complicated life situations (err... she's actually my "ex-wife" technically, but we're getting along great) so it should be very beneficial to her. I think she will really benefit from this as she has way more going on in her life than I do. I'll be sure to update you guys on how she's doing too. I am absolutely sold on this stuff and extremely excited to see where it heads in terms of scientific literature. I'm sure we're going to uncover a lot of great things about this route of administration."

LostFalco: I may be mistaken but I haven't seen you cover adrenal support. I'd be very interested in hearing any ideas you or anyone else might have for this (excluding serotonergics). In my opinion this is a fundamental part of any stack and especially if you're using stimulants.
Edit: One supplement I've tried is this http://www.iherb.com...20-Tablets/1605 but I can't say for sure how much it helped. Will try it again and report back.

K...I'm ramping up my intranasal insulin and am using the bottle you recommend. I'm up to 2-3 times per day, 2 squirts per nostril each time. Will go to 3-4 next week. No sides. Feel great but definitely not the same sort of enhancement as the first time I tried Modafinil and caffeine combo. Then again, I'm aware that's not what I'm supposed to feel.
Verbal fluency is improved. Memory seems to be improved but it's hard to quantify.
I'm about at the 2 1/2 week point of regular use, is there a time period when the effects are really felt to "kick in" a la 2...2 1/2 weeks into an androgen cycle?
In any event, I'm delighted so far.
Very curious about combining with Dihexia but I really don't want to go the DMSO/Dihexia route as I've used DMSO a ton in the past and my wife HATES the smell and can tell immediately when I use it.
Let's face it, if it comes down to sex v. cognitive enhancement...dang...like Malcolm Gladwell says, "...there's smart enough..."

Thanks Lostfalco. I'm an APOE4 carrier. That should make insulin cheaper?
No problem, ceridwen. Your APOE4 status shouldn't affect price. Do you have a doctor you can talk to? You might be able to get it prescribed off label if you've been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. That would be much better than ordering it online.

Hey lourdaud, tbh I haven't focused in that area all that much. I attempt to keep my stimulant intake to a minimum most of the time. Right now, I'm a VERY occasional modafinil user and that's about it. I've even been off of caffeine for the past 3 or 4 months.
What stimulant are you combining with schisandra?

Hey Junk Master, thanks for reporting back!
Yeah, i-insulin is not a stimulant and you definitely won't feel it like Moda + Caffeine.
The mood and brain energy effects kicked in for me after a few days. Of course, everyone is going to be a little different and it's certainly going to be dose dependent.
Yeah, Dihexa is pretty unknown. There hasn't been a single human trial that I'm aware of. If anyone finds one, let me know!
