It would be nice to have a multi-platform mobile app to help organize local groups. Local groups IMO would give the movement the push it needs to apply serious social pressure through numbers and popularity and have in direct spill over effects on politics without making politics a purpose of the group.
Volunteer Group App
*would also install immortality phone themes from our graphic designers should we have any, themes could help establish any immortality memes in development and create a distinct culture of immortals
*assignable roles (president, treasurer, secretary etc)
*tools for the role that make operations simple
*simple scheduling/project management tool that gather's data from other schedulers. If the scheduler could be more useful than others and be made to replace other products it would mean a lot of interaction with volunteers who find it easier/more reliable to use ours.
*donation integration (every volunteer could take donations for LongeCity at various events)
*upload photos, blog entries, files, and videos to LongeCity gallery
*forum topic notifications with vote up/down (no posting)
*local notifications and events slide (dashboard/landing page at start) would also have a group of buttons to access a submenu of the volunteer functions listed above
*national notifications slide (slide right from landing page)
*global/international slide (slide left from landing page)
