By the look of the labels, it appears freezing broke the seal and caused leakage? Tighten the caps before reshipping?

Only a few had minor leakage as the image above shows. The leakage came from around where rubber stopper emerges from the plastic cap. The cap does have a seal so there is nothing to tight

They have thawed!

The BPAP will be in the mail tomorrow. Ran short time on time Thursday. Did not even get a chance to pull them out of storage. But when I did...

The bottles that were frozen appear to have received damage to the rubber tops and are presperating (see photos) and the levels are lower (see green arrows). Only two are completely unscathed. Most have a bit or a little of damage where about thee are fairly bad.

So what actions would I take to stop this prior to shipping? New bottles or tops? I can use my bottle to top off what has been lost to the few that are noticeably so if you guys wish.

Why would freezing cause the rubber bulbs to deteriorate? I would more suspect the rubber bulbs are not resistant to the solvent and it's chemical degradation.....is this why the first vial sent to SG for analysis came up empty?

Why does this BPAP gunk come in a solution form again? What's so bad about good old fashioned powder? Now you got a sticky mess. lol

I'm guessing it would be a pain to try and get either new caps or bottles. What about pinching off the bulb for shipment with either a binder clip (those fancy black paper clips) or a clothes pin. Keeping the BPAP out of the bulb during shipping should prevent anymore leakage. Or would that damage the bulb further?

Here is what I am wanting to do if you guys are cool with/think it will work. Its a little silly but... Simply use those little water balloons one gets at the droller store and stretch it over to rubber down over onto the plastic cap. Could work and it should keep in the contents and if they froze again the balloon would/should hold that in as well...

Tell me what you think :)

It's probably the best solution in order to get them out quickly. Though correct size caps would be optimal, how to find those is another matter. That type of top (dropper & bulb) has never been very good, even with something as simple as Vit D drops, there are issues. The rubber deteriorates quickly even under optimal circumstances.

was it dissolved in DMSO? That would explain why it was frozen and why it leaks through the rubber bulbs. DMSO freezes at 19 C, and it is known to penetrate many materials. Best way is to replace the rubber with any solid caps.
Shipping it frozen all the way would work too

Why is BPAP in a messy dropper solution anyway? Excuse my ignorance, but I wasn't aware of BPAP until longecity.

It needs to be mixed into a solution so that measuring it is more accurate. It's taken in micro grams.
