ISRIB can be synthesized relatively easily by our trusted European Custom Synthesis company.

10 participants at $99 each will get 2.5g of ISRIB. Anyone able and willing, just post here.

Effective doses in lab rats was 2.5mg ot 5mg per kilogram.

Using the HED for mice I got:
14mg minimum dose to 28mg.
That's 178 doses at the minimum range and 90 doses at the max range.
More than enough time to discern the effects.

I already have
JPC16
metagene
sunshinefrost

7 spots left. Heh.

Megatrone added,
6 spots left.

From what I've read thus far, the drug only seems to yield effects temporarily, and is something that would have to be taken continuously for effects to persist?

Why not? Dammit I'm going to have photographic memory or die trying.

That's the spirit! I think exactly the same :P

The t1/2 is 8 hours. I wouldn't expect a permanent increase in memory; but, for 8 hours it should produce the effects as described in the literature.

Since it "can be synthesized relatively easily", what's the lead time on this? Also, $99 is a very manageable price for 90 doses, IF we get the effects anticipated.

I'll inquire about that.

So, 4 spots left now.

2.5g is too much for me. If somebody was willing to split with me I would be in!

i'm gonna sit this one out. If the results are good another group buy shouldn't be a problem.
Good luck with this, I'm very much looking forward to the results!

The study says it was injected into the mice. Would it have to be administered that way?

You still have my interest here and I might be willing to go halves with spookytooth. I just hate needles.

True, will have to research if it's orally bioavailable. The research did not seem to imply that it wasn't. Might have been standard procedure to do IV injections for mice.

I regress, but I will watch this with intense curiosity to determine how it goes and if there will be a second buy-in.

Its pretty close in structure to centrophenoxine, just like left-half of it doubled and bonded to itself so I imagine it shouldnt be hard to set up another buy

Sorry guys, the list ended on lostfalco. You will still have priority if someone drops out (can't pay) from the original list.

Everyone who got the first PM's please check it and send the payment at your earliest convenience. Thank you. That way everyone ends up with the compound sooner rather than later.

OK folks, I've just PMed Yada to let him know that I won't be able to take part in the group buy after all - my finances aren't quite as healthy this month. That leaves my spot open to the next participant on the list.
