I created this topic due to lack of the topic. I will not be organizing this group buy because I am not organized enough myself to do so and I am not a member or accredited enough on this website to ask anybody to send me any money! I am however, hoping that somebody who is experienced in organizing group buys will step in and make this work. Thanks.

I would like to mention what I said in the beginning:
We should first wait what the price is once it's sold by vantage.cc and new star nootropics. Although 22$ for 250mg of Unifiram don't exactly make me optimistic.

To the question as to what lab to use:
Seaon Zhu (from Isochroma's racetam price list) accepts paypal which is a good sign.
The company used by ScienceGuy should be contacted for a quote.

I'll have very little free time on my hands for the next ten days so if s.o. would ask ScienceGuy for the contact details etc I would be thankful!

Ten people (me included) have expressed interest in the group buy so far.

I'm in too, as previously mentioned.
Just one question though: How long can it be stored?
Currently I'm running a trial with Levetiracetam, and cannot add anything (or quit) to allow for proper evaluation of effects.
So it might be a few months before I can actually use Coluracetam.

Just out of curiosity: Did you type colouracetam on purpose? ;)

BTW: I contacted a European custom synthesis lab, but they replied with that they do not sell to individuals..
You need to have a company apparently, but perhaps it's not so for all labs.

My guess is that it can be stored for quite a long time. Else ScienceGuy wouldn't have bought a life-time supply.

When contacting a lab ALWAYS use a company name.

Didn't scienceguy say to be careful getting it synthesized because it isn't an easy synth and the impurities had the potential to be bad or something along those lines? It was in his coluracetam thread, but Im having a hard time finding the exact post.

...
1) COLURACETAM is very lengthy, complex and time consuming to synthesize; and hence if anyone wishes to consider having it custom synthesized it will be pretty expensive if you wish to end up with a product that isn't contaminated with potentially highly toxic impurities (at least one of the synthesis component ingredients is very toxic, whereas the final substance, COLURACETAM, is not)

2) If you wish to obtain COLURACETAM that is sufficiently pure, then my advice is to forget about CHINA; but instead obtain quotations from reputable custom synthesis laboratories in the UK, EUROPE or USA (there may be others in other countries).

nope, just a spelling mistake! did not realise the name came from chlorinated... not that coluracetam makes any more sense anyway. maybe it was the british left in me from my stay over there, always correcting color to colour, etc, etc... maybe it should have been called klonocetam! All the best anyway!

well spotted! I think we should use sci guy's supplier. should be cheaper to synth 2nd time around, since the lab dosent have to learn to make it this time!

New star nootropics will be having Colouracetam in stock soon. Don't think it's worth the hassle as they shit internationally also.

If you read the earlier posts you will see that the precondition for the group buy to happen is an unreasonable price at the vendors. So before anything is ordered we will wait and see what the price is once coluracetam is sold by new star nootropics etc.
Not having to do the group buy is a very much preferred scenario.

Thanks for the replies.

Just wondering: what would be the minimal number of participants to initiate this project? Or is it more a matter of waiting until a proper source and price is available to make such estimations?

I'm interested in participating, but I'll need a price estimate before committing. Assuming it'll be about $60 for 5g, if definately in!

Great idea! I was just going to ask if it was possible to use the same lab.

Maybe New Star Nootropics would care to comment?
From their blog it does seem they're working on it, but the term 'soon' is rather ambiguous.
In any case, perhaps NSN will be glad to find there's a substantial interest in Coluracetam.

In the event that a 19-day-old thread isn't considered dead and only having 3 posts on the forum doesn't exclude me from participating, I'm in also.
