NMDA agonist and drug tolerance

We all know that NMDA receptor antagonists can be used to attenuate or prevent the development of tolerance to various drugs.

However, I would like to use a NMDA agonist (d-aspartic acid) for increasing LH release. But I'm a bit worried, that the co-administration of a NMDA agonist and some of the drugs I'm taking (e. g. phenibut) will increase the rate of tolerance development.

So I found this theory:

I'm theorising that if one were to co-administer an NMDA agonist along with a benzodiazepine, tolerance to the benzo would develop faster, and conversely if one administered glutamate agonists/enhancers with a BZ antagonist like flumazenil, then these long term changes produced by benzos would be reversed at a faster rate than usual. /.../

Is this theory valid? Will it speed up tolerance development? And, if abstaining from the drug, will a NMDA agonist speed up tolerance reversal?

And also, please no discussions about possible neurotoxicity of NMDA agonists.
