i can hear at 17000 Hz here (very faintly). not 18000 Hz.

i can hear 19000 and 18000 (both very faintly) but strangely not 17000

http://www.smashinglists.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/highfreq1.mp3 (supposedly 18000. I can hear it, but a lot of over-20s can so I'm not sure if this is accurate)

though i need to turn my volume all the way up to hear 15000. i can hear 14000 fine at low volumes.

your speakers need to go up that far inorder to make this a valid test, unless you are using a proper tweeter the test is invalid.

I have tested myself up to 16KHz, wish I could hear up to 23KHz :)

I can hear up 19k without moving my speakers.
If i put them up to my ear, I can hear 21k. At full volumne, pushed against the side of my head, I can faintly hear 22k.
I may find a test that goes above this later, It's more interesting than I had thought.

Strangely enough though, I can't really hear 15hz and can barely hear 20hz.

Edit: What is everyones age hear? lolpunpunpunpunpunpun

I'm 20, 21 next week :|o

20K just about matches my tinnitus, so essentially when I play the file it's just a doubling up of that frequency.
