We seem to be having some technical glitches currently, but we are unsure about the cause.

To help us isolate the problem, please report any unusual issues here.

I am noticing the dates for last posts are out of whack sometimes.

For example I just looked at the religion poll and the last post is dated Oct 4th 2013 but the forum list shows the "last post" date for that thread of 25 Apr 2012; more than a year out of date. I have seen a few of these date foul ups around but didn't track on it at first.

Messing up date/time coordination for the software could cause a lot of problems in unforeseen ways. Try looking at the features that set time/date stamps and adjust for local time/date settings.

For what it's worth I'm in the latest Chrome browser on a Win7 64bit OS

Here is a copy of what I'm referring to above
PINNED Which religious/non-relig. identity do you prefer?

The 'views' counters of the topics seem to be halted,
and updated only if there is new reply.

"That's not a bug, it's a feature." Every time someone votes in an old poll, the thread is given a new "last post" date, even though the last post is ancient. This behavior is configurable in the forum software. Many years ago, I polled the community, asking how they would like it set up. A slight majority would prefer that only actual posts cause the thread to reappear on the Active Topics list, but a sizable minority likes it the way it is. I would prefer not to see the same old polls constantly coming up with stale posts.

Niner you are reading the info backwards. The last post was two days ago and list reads over a year ago. The forum list is not updating the posts and as such is not reliable for last vote either. That's why I didn't catch this right away too. I knew about what you are describing and didn't track the error immediately either. Maybe the "feature" is mutating into a bug. ;)

We're definitely looking at that one, waiting for a fix on a database issue.
...Fixed.

I am unable to add participants to any private messages.

I'm sure I've seen "Invite Participants" there before (maybe about a month ago?) but it is not on any of my messages now

Clicking on horizontal banner ads results in:
"Sorry, we couldn't find that!" page.

This error occured to me too today, and also two times before, in the recent week; in the main forum page.

I'm not certain if this is a longecity technical error, but for the past 48 hours I haven't received any email notifications in regards to new posts in my subscribed threads.

I should have received around 30 emails or so. I've checked my spam on gmail, and all of my settings here are set for email notification, so i'm not sure where they went.
