Well it's organized out of SD, and meetup is for local groups, so you have to say you're from SD or the surrounding area. I'm from Delaware, but on meetup I'm from SD. It's required to be a registered group member. The group is really open to everyone and there are alot from SD as that's where it was originally formed, but there are even more from elsewhere.

Only meetup and Chris will have your email and Chris doesn't share it w/ anyone and removes your email from the list if you haven't attended recently.
