Nice work yada, looking forward to hearing some positive reports of Pitolisant improving the lives of longecity's resident narcoleptics. Avoid taking before bedtime if you have sleep issues, as it will likely aggrevate.

Haven't received mine yet, but it should be here soon. Yadayada, have any updates on your experience with Pitolisant? Any tolerance/side effects?

Well, what's it like Metagene? Don't be such a tease, I want to know if I just bought a placebo or something to change my life.

Metagene was closest to me; so your Pitolisant should arrive soon enough.

Q did it! just got the Pitolisant to be reshipped to overseas participants. Great.

If people like the pitolisant, can you order more in the future, or was this a one-time thing?

lol sorry I just came from my folks. I took my first dose 15 minutes ago. I've been up since 2:00 a.m this morning, slightly dehydrated and haven't had a full meal so full impression will come tomorrow. Effects are definitely noticeable within minutes!

It will probably be a long night so I'll pop back in with more anecdotes. :)

Right now I'm 3 hours in and it's pretty much like Yadda described. My mind felt clam and crystal clear but fatigue is starting to take over. I'm going to take a couple of Diphenhydramine and try to get some sleep.

Thanks for the report. Look forward to hearing your opinion when you take it tomorrow too.

I'm not liking this 3-hour duration, that's annoyingly short! I mean, I know people are looking for a change from modafinil's long-ass half-life but 3 hours is definitely suboptimal and least for people who suffer from daytime sleepiness like me.

The effect hasn't dissipated yet. I work the A.M shift and took Concerta along with Caffeine earlier.

maybe tomorrow you should just take pitolisant - no concerta or coffee - so we can see what the effects are all by itself :)

Package received. Thanks again, Yada.

Took a 30 mg dose about 30 minutes ago, on an empty stomache. I usually respond to supplements 45 min. to an hour after dosing. At this point, I feel "awake" without any uncomfortable stimulation associated with other stimulants. I can't tell whether it's placebo from the initial excitement, or whether I'm feeling the effects kick-in. But I definitely feel something. I workout at 5:00am and generally feel my mind becoming fatigued around 1:30 pm or 2:00 pm (it's currently 1:07pm). I've never taken Modafinil, so I can't compare the two. I'll update everyone later on, but I have go back into work now. I work in a mentally demanding field (law), so I'll have a pretty good idea about the compound's effects here in a bit.

All in all, I felt very awake for about 5 or 6 hours. It gave me a calm stimulation the entire time. Didn't feel drowsy and didn't feel that "end of a long day" tired that I often experience. I never had the urge to have caffeine or nicotine, which I often do when I take stimulants. I think it'd do a great job battling minor sleep deprivation or for those long days when feeling tired is not an option. It doesn't feel like it would affect my sleep, but time will tell.

Day 2:

I was up late last night because of unrelated issues and unfortunately had to get up early this morning. Generally, when I don't get a full nights rest, I feel it throughout the day and struggle socializing with my coworkers. This morning, I dosed another 30 mgs and headed to work expecting the same result. This time, I wasn't fatigued and instead felt normal throughout the morning. I didn't have any caffeine or other stimulants to help motivate me. And I only felt the fatigue when I consciously thought about my lack of sleep. Overall, I just felt "normal."

One thing I don't think i'll ever grow comfortable with is the intense numbness of directly putting the substance in my mouth. the numbing effects last longer than PRL; to the point of being uncomfortable. I also wonder if -- like amphetamine -- the substance could soften tooth enamel or cause other dental concerns. I may need to get some caps for the powder. In the meantime, I may try to dissolve the powder in some water and then chase it with more water until I'm positive its all washed down. I'm not sure how the substance is best absorbed into the body, or what is the best method to administer.

Someone try insufflation. A pen with the end caps removed works well - doesn't cause cuts in the nose like the sharp ends of a straw do.

I've tried it with Dianabol and ought to try it with Nopept which I have so far only taken orally.

Day 3: I took a 50mg dose at 1:00 a.m before work. I also consumed caffeine upon arrival then 36mg Concerta 3 hours later. I can't be certain if I'm just in a reminiscent state of mind but I think my episodic memory has improved. I find it easier to visualize things long forgotten such as the faces of classmates of teachers. Names and locations are quickly recalled .I found it hard to gauge the wakefulness effect while performing mind numbing manual labor (over 2 decades of untreated ADHD FML) and the caffeine I consumed within the first hour did little to remedy my usual sluggishness. No negative side effects were produced between the tandem, Pitolasant caused dry mouth alone. At 4:30 a.m I decided to take 36mg of Concerta to power thru the next 4 hours. Really started to pick from that point on and receive a bit of commendation from management. Torromow I will drop the caffeine and take Concerta with Pitolisant. I'm definitely not NT and my schedule isn't ideal so more nuanced impression are best left to others.

Just got my sample, thanks yadayada! Has a unique chemical smell that is hard to describe. A small dab tastes almost like citrus and is followed by a bitter aftertaste. Mild tongue numbness initially that spreads to noticeable numbness in the entire mouth. Dosed 30mg in a cap, I will update with effects.

Maybe I'm a non-responder, because I did not get any effects from the 30mg dose.

Failure is always an option and often an excellent probability but fundal recovery is harder.

Your experience report is of high value.

Do you respond to modafinil?

Yes I do. But modafinil's effects on histamine are not well understood and may be secondary to the dopamine reuptake inhibtion.
