I have some sort of ongoing neuro auto immune issue that I think we are finally grasping. My peripheral nerves, if not too scfarred will get better, but I am worried about my brain and its mitochondria while I fight this illness.
PQQ , d-ribose and a bit of abatement in the symptoms noticably improved my cognitive symptoms, but the attacks are back with a vengence.
I would like to better protect my mitochondria and neurons while I fight this disease.
The problem is, my immune system cannot tolerate any sort of modulation at the moment. An innumerable number of anti inflammatory and antioxidants such as vitamin e exacerbated matters (I say probably because my symptoms fluctuate) .
So, I'm looking for mitochondrial and lipid antioxidants that don't modulate the immune system (vit e), lower my already low bp (coq10) or put me at risk for further ros (coq0)
Any ideas? The only one I can potentially think of is idebenone , but I'm not sure if it would work and if is immuno neutral.
