But shouldn't it be almost identical if it's about the same purity?
No, even for the same molecule, the MS could be different. MS works by breaking molecules into fragments and identifying the atoms present.

Aha, did not know that. Also didn't notice that it was 7,8 vs noopept.

Is there any opinion on whether this is actually sustainable as an anti-depressant/SSRI alternative? or is the intended use to promote rapid neurogenesis and new sets of behaviours, then cycle off?

If it is anything like NSI-189 (which it is), the effects lasts (atleast a month) after discontinued use. Should probably be cycled.

that's good news SP!
the lab i received a quote from wanted 3800clams to perform 7 or 8 different tests on my sample from THT. what are the barebones tests you would have run on the sample? i didn't know which to ask for, perhaps this lab could do it, and for far cheaper, if only running 1 or 2 tests.

Does anyone know how much mg the spoon measures that came with it? I don't have scales yet although I will order some today.
So until the stuck using spoon.
Took 1 spoon three times yesterday. And one so far today. Not noticing much Tbh. But time will tell!

Someone mentioned in the other thread that indofine doesn't ship to private individuals. They have some official distributors of their products (3 alone in europe), which seems to be independent corporations (except the UK distributor I think). So maybe someone has more luck with them.

So will we have to wait until July until Transhuman Technologies Website is back up?

Anyone having any success with this? What dosage are you using if so?
Yes July should be back up. Interested to try the nsi-189 as people are noticing real effects from it. But this 7,8 dhf is just like taking sugar for me...

I think I am noticing a minimal difference. That could be placebo. I think someone in this form stated it was helping them at a dose of 60 mg. daily. Of course that too could be placebo. I am a little worried about whether it is genuine, because the price is so much less than listed by others, but maybe that is feasible if they are dealing in volume. I am just anxious to confirm its authenticity as I plan on buying NSI-189 from them as well and of course want that to be the real thing.

after 14 days of gradually increasing the dose from 5mg. OD, i'm up to 15mg., BID. i THINK it's beginning to have an effect. what i am noticing is that my sleep quality is improving, and i feel really good upon waking. more generally and not positively correlative, i'm starting to think more about doing stuff with my music and hobby projects and pc gaming again, and taking small steps towards those goals. i'm exercising more regularly, and took my third shower this week. believe it or not, that's an improvement. one of the first things to go when i am really depressed is my personal hygiene.
i intend to increase to 20mg. BID, and keep it there until i've been at this dose for 30 days. then i'll stop DHF and instead do a month of NSI-189.

I just found this interesting thesis which I don't believe I've seen posted yet: 7,8-dihydroxyflavone, a selective tyrosine kinase receptor B agonist and BDNF mimic, promotes angiogenesis

socialpiranha: Any update on the group buy?

Can I still join in the group buy? If so, please count me in. Thanks.
There also something I had to tell you in another thread:
Do you think that it is still 7,8-dhf? Maybe just with synthesis contaminations. Do you have a picture as a reference?
It's also a problem that my camera cannot make a perfectly realistic photo.Anyway it's a beige powder with a greenish tone, not just greenish. The other problem is that i am not a native speaker, so I think I do not fully understand what you mean by "dense", "flaky" etc.
Should the powder be more fine-grained? I think it's a bit sticky, not totally 'loose'.
Can you name some household substances (sugar, pepper, salt etc.) that can compare? And do you know how it should smell and taste like?
http://www.longecity...ndpost&p=667812
I also posted two images there.
Can someone answer my questions?
I'm worried about authenticity/quality and bioavailability...
Shouldn't be sublingual dosing of ~30mg the best I can do?
And shouldn't it be possible to do somethin like a Marquis reagence test?
Someone who has surely real DHF and that of THT.co could compare...

This is slightly off topic but I did not want to post a forum entitled NSI-189. I don't know how many of you know but Ceretropic was going to start carrying or was carrying NSI-189. They were sent a cease and desist letter by Neuralstem threatening lawsuit so suffice it to say they will not carry it. I don't know if other retailers will befall the same. If so however does anyone want to begin organizing a group buy for it?

This thought of beeing careful went also through my head.
But I guess switching to another thread is not enough.
If You type NSI in the searchbar, this thread would also popup, since NSI was written.

I've been on antidepressants for 10 years nearly thus was looking for an alternative to my depression with crippling anxiety treatment.
I found 7,8 dhf from tht.co to take away my rapid heartbeat feeling...but that's about it. That effect would last maybe half the day.
I was taking it sometimes on its own and sometimes with kratom as the 7,8 dhf alone wasn't enough to lead me out of my little corner cowering with negativity , anxiety and depression. Kratom I can always trust to blow it away for the day and provide relief.
So all in all its not as powerful as even ssris for me which aren't all that effective for me either but still more effective than 7,8.
For your information I was taking roughly 30mg/day.

After taking it for about 2 weeks I'm tossing this on the back burner.

7,8 dhf is meant to increase adult hippocampal neurogenesis which takes several weeks. You still might feel short-term positive effects but it is not meant to be a as an aspirin for headache. I would also take 50mg in the morning and 50mg at night (recommended dosage 5mg per Kg of your weight; for example if you weight 75kg the recommended daily dosage is 375mg). If still you do not experience any benefit you might consider to switch to NSI-189 which is similar in the adult hippocampal neurogenesis goal.
For rapid heartbeat feeling I strongly recommend a very low dosage of beta-blockers such as propranolol (10mg as soon as you wake up and 10 mg at night if needed). It helped me a lot with anxiety.
Check also for food intolerance that might contribute to your depression/anxiety. I eliminated wheat from my diet and my anxiety was gone. Everyone is different thought.
A couple of more things you can try are l-tyrosine supplementation that increase dopamine and l-theanine that increase GABA and safely help to treat anxiety in the long term:

I wish it was a food intolerance that I could find! Strange how in my late teens this started to come on. Depression/anxiety/rhinitis/fibromyalgia. I was fine as a kid, very happy childhood although I admit I was quite sensitive! It didn't hold me back though.
All the symptoms get worse and I'm put on ssris. Years later and I actually feel worse now than in the beginning. Maybe that's due to life circumstances being older and having achieved very little and knowing that after 10 years of the med-go round there isn't much hope for me.
I've tried propanolol before, went Upto 40 mg but it's effects didn't last long.
The only meds to help with my anxiety completely were venlafaxine/seroquel combo but weight gain was bad as was no sex drive!
Then mirtazapine was good for anxiety and depression but again weight gain was an issue aswell as having no interest in communication with my partner!
Trazodone obliterated my rapid heartbeat sensation more than anything but I still felt anxious about situations enough to avoid them and was zombiefied and it did nothing for depression except make me a bit more suicidal.
Got psych on Wednesday to discuss the next med. Think she may go amitriptyline. Not too keen on these sedative drugs so far though.
It's quite urgent I find something as I have my wedding in August and quit my job in April after I stopped mirtazapine then my anxiety spiked. Long history of poor decisions like that due to my anxiety of being around people! So frustrating as I keep thinking I don't need meds but when I stop I suffer.
Anyway, slightly back on topic, I'll keep ur dosage recommendation in mind and maybe give it another throw of the dice.

Did you try Atenolol? It is a selective beta blocker with a longer half-life (6/7 hours).
Food intolerance create inflammation in the body and the brain. If that can be the case for you try high dosage of curcumin which is a potent anti inflammatory. Longvida is the most potent bioavailable brand of curcumin but bloody expensive (nutrivene is the cheapest source) so try a traditional brand first which has bioperine in it to increase bioavailability. Vitacost for example sells Vitacost Turmeric Extract Curcumin C3 Complex® with Bioperine. Curcumin also increases the effect of anti-depressants. if you see that curcumin helps then you can consider to opt for the longvida more expensive option.
If you are sure 100% that food intolerance/inflammation is not the cause of your anxiety/depression you can try the following supplements:
l-tyrosine (for depression/anxiety)
l-trypthophan or 5-htp (for depression/anxiety, bur in very low dosage if used along with antidepressants to avoid serotonin syndrome)
l-theanine (for anxiety)
rhodiola rosea extract (for anxiety/depression)
selank (for anxiety)
Hydroxyzine (anti histamine for anxiety)
If those do not work you can try NSI-189 and/or Cerebrolysin in addition to 7,8 dhf to target neurogenesis and synaptogenesis in the hippocampus.
To avoid that this thread about 7,8 dhf derails on depression/anxiety topics please send me a PM if you require more info or suppliers details.

Source? Afaik, 7,8 have not been tested in humans and have no recommended dose for humans. Is the 5 mg / kg from a rat/mouse study? Have you converted it?
When I converted the dose I got around 10 mg per 25 kg iirc.
