So is this group buy still on or has it been called off?

It's been on hold for some time waiting for an independent lab to test that it's the real thing. I think the best way to get some will be when tht.co re-opens or teamtlr receives theirs.

I guess the spec is no longer useful. I received email from teamtlr

Hello,

We unfortunately have to announce that the arrival of 7,8-Dihydroxyflavone has been delayed unexpectedly, wherein it is anticipated to be readied in two weeks.

Although we successfully synthesized a very small initial small gram batch, we had a bit of an unexpected setback with scale-up.  We are obviously really sorry to have such happen, but this is our initial synthesis of this compound and such things can occur.

???

Big topic on reddit right now. They actually mentioned they will get third party testing up soon - the site is still under constrution as of now.

Makes me wonder why they allready put it up then... However, I'm getting the impression that these guys are actually legit, but not really too good (yet) at conviniently and professionally displaying their legitemacy to the nootropic scene and their potential customers...

Let's wait and see I guess. Interesting roster of novel compounds, that's for sure...

They´ve posted something about their CBD´ish stuff here

http://www.longecity...e-6#entry676807

I personally think they use a RC. So a semi-synthetic Magnolia ,or any other, compound.

But it could be also something far cheaper.

It has come to my attention that products are being slandered/libeled here. The manufacturer of the product has assured us that there are no seeds in said product.

Thought it appropriate to post here that I sent the following message to SocialPiranha on July 28th:

Hi.

Regarding 7,8-DHF, I'd like to reiterate that I'm more than happy to risk receiving my share of the product you ordered from indofine without undergoing the lengthy process of testing.

However, if you're still uncomfortable with that then I'd like to request a refund of my $70 USD.

Cheers.

Despite him being active on the 1st of August, I received no response. Pretty disappointed with this whole group buy situation, really.

Well, as always, take this with a grain-of-salt, because nothing really works for me .. but I've been trialling tht's 7,8-DHF for the past three days ..

Day 1: Began doling out small doses sublingually, in the aim of working my way up the recommended 30mg. First dose of 5mg was good .. may have been placebo, but I felt calmer and was able to focus on a movie, which I haven't done for months .. attention felt smoother, flexible, and I had more control over intrusive thoughts.

One or two doses later, and thinks were still okay .. I felt a little 'up', was more sociable etc., slightly hyperactive, though still physically fatigued. Final dose was a little too much, and I ended up feeling overheated, a little cranky etc.

Day 2: Since I lived through yesterday, I jumped into 15mg sublingually. After about 20 minutes, I noticed my head clearing out and I was able to sit still comfortably (I have chronic akathisia), but I was overly alert. This grew into a restlessness/hyperactivity,  which died down after a few hours. Later that evening, I took about 10mg, and was able to focus on a project, but also felt a bit cranky. One final dose after that .. and then for some reason I became very euphoric and a little cloudy-headed around 10pm, watched a movie which was enjoyable, colors and contrasts were enhanced etc., but my mind was racing slightly by bed-time.

Day 3: Had been taking Prazosin (alpha-1 agonist) and Lithium Orotate to sleep. Wondered if rebound was contributing to 7,8-DHF's 'overstimulation', so cut them out last night. Woke up with my usual akathisia .. took about 10mg sublingually and again head cleared out (the fan in my room was crystal-clear and I was able to meditate until I fell back asleep) .. but the second dose after that (~15mg) wasn't good and I felt very irritable, sensitive to noise etc. Collapsed into depression in the evening. Wondered if my reaction was placebo, and I know some people had more luck snorting it, so railed 5mg. Hadn't done any reading on the 7,8-DHF, so tested it out .. my processing speed was quite good, as was my focus; and .. despite bad conditions (noise/anxiety), I am able to recall stuff I read quite easily now. Mood was very good later, but grew tired and foggy around 9pm, so railed 10mg, which again made me overly alert and cranky.

And .. that's where I'm at. I guess I'm frustrated because the 7,8-DHF is supposed to regulate excessive dopamine release and have some kind of mood-stabilizing properties .. I haven't been able to tolerate any kind of stimulants/dopaminergics since my akathisia started, so I was hoping this might be different and curb my awful mood lability.

Maybe the 30mg thing isn't a one-size fits all .. and I am historically very sensitive to drugs/supps, moreso than ever now, and I did really feel the best on that first 5mg dose I took, plus the 5mg I railed this evening. I might try something like 5mg (sublingual or snorted) t.i.d. tomorrow?

TeamTLR will be releasing a mailer any day regarding 7,8-DHF, some new items, and related.  If anyone wishes to receive this please register at your earliest ability.  More mailers with upcoming new and exciting research endeavors and items are to follow as well.

As TLR very much wishes to both promote best movement within progressive research and never wishes to see people 'get burned', we will look to afford some form of credit to those who have true research intents and have not received any material or refund from SP.  For anyone who wishes to take advantage we will look to make what may be seen as a best accommodation for your unfortunate loss and your desire to move toward true, progressive research.  While of course we cannot absorb nearly the full potential loss one may be taking herein, we will try to best accommodate to offer something in this manner.  Note as well, support of Project TLR of course in the end is a means to support the very research goals, and hopefully goals of betterment for all, that it appears many share herein.

Best,

VI and TeamTLR

I'm going to contact him tomorrow for a refund as well; I'll ask him to check the board.

I did get refunds from him before for other unfortunately failed group buy attempts, so I've little reason to suspect he wouldn't refund now.

I've been in contact with him for over a month now for a refund. However, I have yet to be refunded. He rarely replies and when he does, he spews out some BS excuse to why I haven't been refunded...

I'll be honest i fell into some hard times lost my job and the bank took all my money i thought i was gonna still have enough to refund the last few people but that fell through. i'm from a small rural area that's basically going bankrupt so i had to get a job across the country i swear i will refund as soon as possible. But i just want to be clear that it's out of moral obligation and not legal obligation, everyone sent the money as a gift and it's past the point of paypal refund. I apologize for any dishonesty to try to buy myself some time to fix things but it's hard to admit embarrassing shit sometimes. Life's fucked up especially for those of us with mental health issues, i never claimed to be a totally secure investment of your money i'm not a company(%70 of supplements bought from online companies are counterfeit anyway) i'm just a flawed individual just like you guys susceptible to life circumstances. I love this forum but there are flaws with the group buy thing this being one of them, live and learn and be glad i'm not a total scam artist my intentions have always been good.

Good of you to step forward SP and look to do the honorable thing within difficult circumstances.  Obviously it is a moral obligation, which is all that should matter within any honorable situation.  Law within civil matters is in place as to the need within legitimate complex disputes at best and corruption at worst, and in which is indeed all too prevalent.  It should never require anything to be within a legal obligation wherein there is a simple obligation and 'need' to do 'the right thing'.

Anyway, preach out. ;)

As noted above, we are willing to help all involved within a partial credit as to what funds were sent to SP and not refunded to those so owed for those with serious research intents and who wish to put such toward what we believe to be the most superior agent for promoting the BDNF signaling expression pathway.  So, hpefully within the discretion anyone so chooses perhaps this can be coordinated for the betterment of all wherein it may apply to be seen as favorable.

Currently we have two agents that have potent BDNF signaling expression, via glutamatergic and related 'convergence modulation', and which appear to act synergistically as well:

As a note, we did a small run of 7,8-DHF and found the results very unsatisfactory within our animal models.  This was within all forms of oral route administration to note.  We may engage a synthesis of an optimized analogue as we do find the pathway of enough worth.  A mailer in relation to this will be released shortly, however, we suspended it a bit to further confirm our results and place all in best order to proceed accordingly.

Perhaps the $10-$20 credit as above per item would be something of worth and that can be accommodated and relieve the burden a bit to all so involved within this group buy.  All who have hit hard times of any nature can well understand the burdens involved.

At worst, if one reads the pages, one might find the content worthwhile. :)

I have a 3 gram sample from indofine which i offered to aarfai in return for his order but he declined. I believe laurdad and formergenious were the only other two i haven't refunded i can send it out to one of them who could split it and send it to the other if they are interested. I think they only ordered 1 gram each originally anyway.
