It sucks. I just don't know what to try next. Nothing seems to work. Stablon also does nothing. Why do other
people get positive results from stablon or ritalin and I feel nothing? This is depressing.

Ritalin doesn't seem to make me worse from what I can tell. But it also doesn't do much positive for me.

I also felt nothing positive from Stablon. I can't help thinking that a number of people are very susceptible to the placebo effect. I don't doubt that if someone posted about feeling euphoria from aspirin then suddenly a lot of other people on the internet are going to start posting about their aspirin euphoria too.

I don't know what to do now. I am scared of most drugs. Zoloft was too scary for me. TCAs are also scary and have many side effects.
Effexor and cymbalta are also scary cause they can cause withdrawal issues.

I think stablon might make my depression worse. I'll get off it. I mean if it didn't work after 3 weeks then it will never work.
You should give it 6 weeks, unless it is making your depression unbearably worse.

Double dose after having been off it gives mild euphoria and was very helpful the other day when I could feel myself slipping into a deep hole.
I think some of us may need a higher dose. I can't afford to keep.up double dosing though.
But it can perhaps be helpful as needed for depressive emergencies.

Ritalin is one of the shittiest stimulants I've come across, second only to MDPV. It works differently than the releasing agents I'm used to so I'm not surprised. Other people shoot it up every day or snort it like faux-cocaine, so there you have it. Different stokes. It's hard not to get discouraged when something doesn't live up to the reports but that's mental illness treatment in a nutshell: trial-and-error.

I can say without pause that Stablon DOES have an effect on me, and a pleasant one at that. Just because something doesn't work for one person doesn't mean it's worthless for everyone. That's biopsychiatry 101. It seems that some of the people here are looking for a blast of euphoria or "high" rather than sustainable treatment, which is fine. Who doesn't love some good euphoria every now and then? However, antidepressants and nootropics aren't known for being all that recreational/euphoric so you may be barking up the wrong tree.

I should clarify - over six weeks on the recommended dose of tianeptine did nothing for my depression -it might as well have been a sugar pill for all I felt from it, so it wasn't a case of expecting an acute effect and being disappointed because of that. It just didn't work as an antidepressant at that dose for me.
After having been off for a while, I tried a double dose and it made me feel good acutely for 2-3 hours. It was the first time I felt anything from it. Unfortunately this acute effect does not repeat on subsequent doses. The only way to get it to repeat is to have been off it at least a few days. Since a lot of people for whom stablon works longer term DO report an acute effect as well, this suggests that the dose I need for long term effect is probably higher. It would be too expensive though.
