Hey,

I'm interested on start doing autohemotherapy but I got no one to help me with this. I'm not afraid of needles and give myself IM shots weekly(due to a hormonal disorder). The issue is that drawing blood is painful as hell. I remember once in a hospital in Ireland when a nurse drew blood from my vein and I didn't feel anything. I suspect it has something to do with the spot. Has anyone got any advice on a painless(or almost painless) way to draw blood from a vein?

Thanks!

The problem is that you can't draw blood from your veins without some sort of suction, because there is negative pressure in the veins. Obviously you would need someone to draw it for you or use the vacuum evacuated flasks which they use all over the world for blood drawing, "vacuette" is such a brand. I wouldn't bother doing it alone because because its quite risky... maybe try to befriend someone at a blood donating place and ask them if you can get your blood back...

What are you trying to accomplish with autohemotherapy? How much blood do you need, anyway? I'm going to guess not all that much, if you're going to inject it IM or SubQ. It sounds potentially hazardous. What's the evidence that it works?
