The effects of The F@h Prize are showing.

This top graph shows the growth in active contributors (active = completed a work unit in one week). The active folders had been running about 45-50 for some time. Last night when this chart was posted at EOC, the active contributors were averaging about 75.5 (data in chart represents a running average, and is posted once daily). The current number of active folders at the time of this message is 81.

The second graph shows total number of contributors (~ 252.5). Curent total is 255.

Based on the charts, it appears that The F@H Prize effect started on or about March 24, probably when the publicity got underway.



The F@H Prize contributors are also having a noticable effect on points-per-day (PPD). Although PPD probably has a bit of lag due to the necessary time to complete work units and to establish an average. Looking good, at the time of this post :

Current PPD is 28,398.

Thanks to all of you who are signing up and pushing the Longevity Meme folding team to new heights. I want to repeat what dnamechanic has been saying about registering for the prize. I am sure some of you are joining just for the benefit of longevity science or the fun of competition, however, if you would like to lay claim to some of the prize money you have to register here. We had to require this step in order to make sure we can contact and send prize money to the winners. When you join the folding team your screen name will appear in the list of team members, but there is no way for us to contact you just by knowing your screen name. When you register here at Imminst, we will have a point of contact and can send you a personal message or email when you win the prize money.

A few people have signed up for the Longevity Meme Team recently but did not register for the prize. If you personally know any of these folders who perhaps forgot to register, please tell them to register ASAP.
