Sitting at 162 ug/m3 here, beyond "life threatening". Visible smoke in the sky, and huge amounts of people are sick with respiratory problems etc. What suplements might be of use in these conditions? I was thinking NAC, ALA, s-acetylglutathione vitamin C and avoidance. Any ideas? Thanks!

Forget supplements, it sounds like you need a gas mask!

yes when outside I am always wearing a 3m P95 mask. Its sad to see so many people who stand around all day breathing deeply unprotected.

Nac most definitely. On chronic uptake i take 250mg per day, it should be enough if you eat well and aren't senior. Im testing it for a month now. I guess in the future ill drop the chronic intake and use it only on occasionally(winter virus period, wall painting-toxic inhale, after a loud concert/trauma- helps ears to recover etc)

I second NAC.. keep your glutathione levels up. I would also suggest Vitamin C.. maybe 500mg twice a day. Smokers are shown to have depleted levels of vit C and you're doing something similar.
