Get some natural peppermint oil and put a few drops in some water and use it for a mouthwash. You can also use green tea instead of water.

Not to be paranoid: Hopefully one does not overdose from overexposure to these foods. Such as if you already eat a lot of coconut and coconut oils, that you aren't going over the limit by using the oil for teeth cleaning. If the oil is in the mouth, it is in contact with the skin layer and gums within the mouth, and through diffusion / transfusion and contact, it will enter the skin into the body.

Mate, we use it to cook with,on the skin after a shower,hair/scalp,wounds...you name it and it's totally fine so long as it's Virgin,Cold Pressed,no Hexane and in glass or BPA Free. We use Banaban brand and it's awesome stuff. Look it up hey, as the Oil is used as a rinsing agent that happens to loosen basically anything between the teeth, esp. if used often as it soften debris. Thing is it will contain lots of bacteria n crap so you don't actually swallow it, you spit it out...but there's more
(can we embed YT Vids?)
Seems like a lot of time yeah, but as he says, first thing say..in the shower, drying off, getting dressed..be about 20mins for the benefits
Also a couple of really good links on the many uses and safety:
