They have made public statements referencing the results people were getting on this forum.

Do you remember where you saw those statements? I haven't ever seen them reference Longecity. :P

Hey Sapper,

Would you be able to provide an update on how you're going with the NSI?

Did you purchase through hearwhynot@gmail.com?

Kind regards,

tolerant

Sapper already has some; I was wondering if (s)he tried it.

He :)

So I received my batch a few days ago from the supplier. I don't want to get ahead of myself or jump the gun or anything, but the effects that I've noticed have been subtle, yet distinctive. I've noticed that I appear to be generally happier at any given time, dealing with stress has been somewhat alleviated in terms of the its effects on the mind, and I've noticed my memory has slightly improved. It has only been a week thus far so any of these effects could be attributed to solely to placebo or in part to placebo, but I'm holding out as being cautiously optimistic that the effects I'm noticing are in part due to NSI-189. I've also noticed that it has a slight anxiolytic effect, but I can't put this past placebo either. Overall, I'm pleased so far and I'm just waiting to see if continued dosing leads to continued positive long-term effects.

Edit: I suggest purchasing two grams as it seems as though one gram wouldn't be sufficient to sustain any positive effect, but if finances do not permit or you are weary of its benefit, I'd suggest going with one gram. Furthermore, using NSI-189 in conjunction with exercise seems to be far more beneficial. For those of you who are lazy (I am guilty of this), find a way to harness some motivation in the hopes that you may achieve greater brain benefit.

It was on an investment discussion we saw a while back. Essentially when they were hyping up NSI-189, they said something to the effect: "There are even people on a longevity forum that have bought some through a group buy, and the results are very positive." They were positioning to investors as a positive response. I'll see if I can find where I read it.

If anyone has any unwanted NSI left over, I would be happy to buy it off them.

Is this a business forum ? Just a question because I thought that we were here to increase our knowledge and read about experience

We are attempting to increase our knowledge in all areas of nootropics, and this includes the business aspect. Here is something I have learned over time, avoid reading experiences (unless it involves serious health factors) on supplements/drugs you plan to experiment with. After you have experimented for a couple of weeks, then read and compare the experiences of others to see if the effects are real or simply just a placebo.

I'm sorry, I'm actually at a family party so I need to make this quick. Typically reputable companies don't do interviews with stock newsletters, which is something CUR has been known to do. They actually did something recently with a newsletter called smithonstocks. Also when I say market their products, I'm not referring to consumers, I'm talking about marketing to investors. Almost every company who is publicly traded on an exchange is worth 100+ million, its the investors who created their market cap, not their products .

Other companies similar to CUR, like STEM for example, have their shady little investment banks pushing their stock. You have to promote your stock in some way when you are going to do share based financing in the future. I don't think that interview was much worse than having an investment bank "analyst" pump the stock. The important question: is the promotion twisting the facts and making BS claims, or is it relatively honest?  CUR doesn't seem overly promotional, other than the their press releases related to the NFL and TBI, but even those might have been made in good faith.

Do you really think they added longevity/nootropics based on their own research?

Umm yes that's exactly what I think.   Why do you think it came from here?  because those are subjects talked about on these forums?  That's way more of a stretch than my admittedly horrible gun analogy.

This is the last I will post on this subject, but here are a few of the many reasons why it would be completely foolish for a pharmaceutical company to gather data from an internet forum.

1. They are not supplying the NSI-189.  People are acquiring random powders from random vendors/individuals which may or may not be NSI-189.

2. They know basically nothing about the people posting on here....  Their Age, background, health issues, mental stability,  other meds/supplements they are taking etc. etc.

3. Absolutely no safeguard against the placebo effect.  Just about everyone who tries a substance on here has already read pages and pages about the supposed effects they will have.

4.They have spent years of research, and millions of dollars developing this substance.  They are involved in extremely regulated, scientifically based studies to learn about the safety and efficacy of their product.  They have a reputation to protect and very long road ahead of them to achieve FDA approval.  They simply are not going to waste their time with internet hearsay.
