Hello, A huge thank you to anyone who can offer their opinions and advice. The following is a list of supplements I currently have and I was hoping that I could build a stack which purpose would be to help me get through school. Note, I do not take all of these presently, nor do I need to include every single one in a stack.

  • Vitamin B3 (Nicotinic acid)
  • Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin)
  • Meythlfolate
  • Magnesium Citrate
  • Korean Red Ginseng (Panax Ginseng)
  • ALCAR
  • NAC
  • Rhodiola
  • Vitamin D3
  • Melatonin
  • Suntheanine
  • Vitamin B complex
  • Ginko
  • EPA/DHA fish oil caps
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid
  • Phosphatidyl serine
  • CDP-choline
  • Bacopa
  • Lions mane caps
  • Piracetam
  • Modafinil
  • Ashwaghanda powder
  • Gota kola powder

A bit of background on me: I have purchased most of these over the last few months because I have been dealing with some mental health issues and am trying to get some mental clarity back. I am a recovering alcoholic/drug abuser, 2 years clean and sober, eat sleep exercise well. I deal with brain fog, Depersonalization, slight depression, and mental fatigue. I will be seeing a Doctor to treat the depression but in the meantime I feel like I need all the help I can get since I am leaving for school in 4 days.
I appreciate any help and stack adivce offered, thank you very much.

Looks really good!

Don't forget K2 for the D3. K2 is in grass-fed butter and meats. (Hence, "Activator X" / Weston A Price / Fermented Cod Liver Oil & High Vitamin Butter Oil blend)

I would go for taking desiccated liver over synthetic B vitamins long term (Argentina product) Swanons vitamins is a great source. There you would also get lots of selenium, iron, B's, copper, zinc, folate.. It's liver! Also very cheap. Can get B12 from eating quality grass fed beef raw or very rare. Oran meats. Shellfish.

Also be ware of the potential side-effects of Bacopa reducing fertility / libido / perhaps testosterone too.

Since you mention recovering from drug abuse and depression, look up "The Happy Stack" implementing Uridine. Amazing stuff. Combine with fish oil and B12.

Also look up the Bulletproof Executive list for "Upgrading your Supplements". Excellent and concise information.

ALCAR I found has been causing me overly aggressive behavior. Be aware of that.

Overall, I think it is a great stack! I have many of the same things.

Soon I will be getting PQQ to enhance mitochondria. (Oh yeah, consume MCT oil!) also some Coq10. I will be shining Infrared LED's on my skull. Check out "Lostfalco's extensive Nootropic Experiments" This could also be helpful for depression.

Also, it's my impression that Phosphatidyl serene is manufactured itself through other means. I forgot the synthesis.

Two others I suggest, both cheap: 1. Kelp (for iodine and minerals) 3 capsules per day with food. 2. TMG. Look up the article by Dr. Wilson. Would be helpful in producing Sam-e, more energy, and aiding depression / recovery.

You should also seriously consider adding an SBO (soil based) probiotic. Gut health is HUGE. Literally, our second brain. Also, some of the strains involved are related to BDNF (lactobacillus planterum) Go for the Primal Defense / Primal Defense Ultra. Other good ones are PreScript Assist and Advanced Orthomolecular Research Probiotic 3 (Canada).

For more info on this stuff, listen to some  Bulletproof Executive Radio Podcasts. K2 with Dr.Kate and the one on Resistant Starches with some experts. Mind blowing, both of them.

Kick ass man!
