I am having a hard time sourcing Sodium Valproate / Valproic acid (I take it these are the same thing...)

 

It appears to be prescription only pretty much everywhere. And I can't imagine a GP in Britain would risk granting a prescription to someone who wishes to experiment with the substance...

 

With a prescription, it appears that I could get this for 5p/200mg pill in the UK http://www.pharmacy2...px?packid=65042

 

However http://www.pharmacyc...ic acid/500 mg/ gives me a page of matches all > 50c

 

Without prescription, it is very difficult to find it anywhere, $1/500mg seems to be going rate. After half an hour of searching:

and I can't find any positive review of either website, EasternDrugs may be selling fakes

 

Is there any way to get a prescription for experimental purposes?

 

And does anyone know of a good way to get this without prescription?
