Maybe everyone is an illogical being. Or maybe logic was never a truly reliable tool to begin with. All of logic depends on axioms, and fundamental axioms are always assumed at some level.
I cite Godel's incompleteness theorm as to why the foundations of logic are shaky.

For exemple, contrary to an abondance of evidences, society still think that women has been bullied by men.

In terms of compensation, they are generally paid less than men, and there are fewer women as engineers and mathematicians.
However, women mostly get to choose sex which easily compensates for the above. They also get advantages in court such as during divorce.

Most women reproduce, most males don't, so males strive for greatness to beat other men. Women don't strive for greatness because they already have sex. Instead, they sell it. Men are totaly disposables, women are precious.

But they get everything pretty much handed to them by supporting men. So they are still the winners in that category.

It seems it is also more risky hiring women. They can file lawsuits for sexual harassment, and get pregnant and run away with your investment in them.
Anyway... There are also less women in coal mines, construction, military front lines, and so on and so forth. Workplace injury... The female population also seems to have fewer really smart people, so no wonder they don't enter those engineering and science jobs as much.
Half the time I have some sort of faith in the potential of average person, other times I get frightened by them and the smart people's lack of vision.
I think education and societies fundamental structure must be challenged. Who for example reached the belief in the superiority of democracy through some real rational endeavor? I did not.
Putting a bunch of mediocre people in the same school system as the superior is insane. They will conform to the mediocre, and thus be turned away form their natural path, to some large extent I believe. Just like everyone else falls prey to conformity and psychological pressures.

The persons that you mentioned, OP, have had plenty of irrational moments. One can only be completely rational (even from a perspective of admitted self-interest) when you lived part of your mental life on two opposite sides of a dialectic. Without having done such, "rationality" is almost always tainted a certain ignorance of information or perspective. Irrational true believers are more rampant in the towers of science and secular reason (philosophy, politics. etc) than you may wish to believe. I'm not pointing fingers, but only stating that I'd be reluctant to ever lose my skepticism that any particular body of thought is flawed with a cetain degree of the irrational.

How can you raise potential geniuses if the birthing parents are still raising the children? I was a straight A student until I was neglected, oops. Everyone is stuck in their own situation and this world does not promote an environment for common geniuses... I know many smart black people in my community, but because of their environment, they were shoved in the cage like many other blacks. It's not me being racist, it's just fucked up.

The Pay gap of the always repeated 25% doesnt exist, it is maybe 7%, mostly because of women getting pregnant and other things that have to do with children, --> biology.
And there are not fewer women in engeneering, (a larg part of the) natural sciences, informatics etc. because they are bullied out by the "boys club", but because an overwhellming number of women isnt really interessted in those fields. Since decades they try to get more women into engeneering(in the western world at least), and if you look in a class room (as I did) you may see that nothing has changed, only two girls are there, one is there because she is interessted, and the other is there to be close to her boyfriend, and will change her field of interesst sooner or later.

There are a lot of smart people in the world but most of them remain silent so there is a observation bias that makes us think there are only loudmouths and dingbats out there.
Doing what Aubrey or Snowden does is incredibly time-staking and exhausting. It's the mental equivalent of wading through waist-deep mud back and forth every day.
