Well Alivebynature ship to Europe, I just successfully ordered the below:-

This is the 3 pack of 250mg NR cost me $144 with shipping, that's 180 tablets of 250mg each.

The HPN 180 pack would cost me about $115 with shipping but they would be 180 x 125mg each

 

Couldn't pass this up, that's me up from 250mg to 500mg p/d for 90 days

 

I don't know this isn't HPN. This is the HPN group buy board.

I do see you gave it the HPN link in the first post, you should maybe edit the thread title, to "HPN Niagen Nicotinamide Riboside LONGECITY Group Buy" that might help avoid future confusion.

 

Regardless of that we are all here to get the best deal of this rather expensive supplement possible right? and it looks like Alivebynature just knocked another huge chunk of the price (unless I've completely miscalculated it) which has to be good, hopefully HPN will be soon to follow suit. A win win for us the users hopefully

Excellent find Del369, I was almost out, I was going to order from ProHealth @$3/g, but these folks also have a 6 pack of the same you got for $240 or $2.67 per gram, free shipping. That's the absolute lowest price so for NR. Better yet, their product is unadulterated, only rice flower, no other useless stuff added

I doubt there is a catch.

Niagen has been sub 18 $ per standard HPN bottle (60x125mg)  back in 2013 before the news from Sinclair first came up.

 

We have just been gouged so far as "early adopters". Even this new price ($21 equivalent) is higher than the 2013 one of $18.

The AliveByNature price seems almost too good to be true. Has anyone had any experience with this product?

So I've been uncapping the HPN capsules, pouring half into my hand in order to mix in Cerave lotion each time I put it on my face and hands and elsewhere. However, with the last purchase of 180 capsules from HPN via Amazon this time for $79, I noticed a change in the texture and color of the contents. It's a lot more powdery than before.

 

Did HPN change their filler or formulation in any way?

Just tried alivebynature 60x250mg, I uncap the capsule and pour into my mouth, tastes stronger then the HPN 125mg caps in a good way (similar as HPN taste, just stronger taste to it), the volume/cap size is just a bit more/bigger cap.  I like them

Also, forgot to add, in the Amazon ad I saw Magnesium Sterate listed as added ingredient, I called alivebynature and asked if that was still used and they said they pulled that out and all new product ordered did not have it, and my bottles do not have that listed as added ingredients, only rice flour and gelatin capsule.

I've just compared my last order with the LongeCity discount (June 2016) to the current price. The cost has come down.

 

I got 360 caps (of 125mg) for around $200 in June 2016. 

 

Now, when buying 3 x the Niagen 180 product, it's 540 caps (of 125mg) for around $228. $28 for an additional 180 caps!

 

I'd welcome an additional discount and it may help people who haven't tried HPN pull the trigger. I've found their product to be decent--after trialling three different brands of NR.

I think the price on Amazon.com is the same as HPN's .com site (I only checked quickly). I don't know what the margins are, so couldn't say what the scope for a discount is. If there is scope, then it's at least worth asking.

Well we were getting a deal of $99 per 180 capsule bottle, now those are going for $78 on Amazon. That's $20 less. If they give us a deal for even less than that I'm all for it but we'd have to talk to them. I tried e-mailing their support@hpnsupplements.com but it bounced. I used their online form instead. I can ask if they respond whether they have any more longecity deals.

The situation concerning HPN pricing (and everyone else selling Niagen) is that Chromadex is selling it to everyone and his brother that ask for wholesale pricing.  IOW, sales are on a roll. Chromadex is in the business of selling proprietary commodities and as markets are somewhat inefficient, there are pricing fluctuations, like we are experiencing now amongst vendors. But over the long term price rules, and everyone is subject to that, so prices are falling to a point where the profit is minimized, but survivable.

 

Everyone is selling more or less the same product. Some are cleaner than others, but many likely don't care. As has been mentioned before, some time ago, when Niagen wasn't so popular, before the hype, the price was lower than today, and vendors were still making a profit. I would venture further price erosion is inevitable, but not absolutely guaranteed. We shall see.

OK guys here's what's up. HPN has lowered their prices to compete with the competition. You might have noticed our group-buy pricing has been beat. I contacted HPN and they are working on something for us "right now" but I can't say what it is until they send me a new offer.

 

I just bought 4 bottles of 180 capsules for $3.51 a gram off Amazon so thats where my head is at. I'll keep this going as long as possible but I see the competition driving even lower prices. I expect this will be the pattern for some time to come and what ever HPN gives us "this time" I see that eventually being beat.

For anyone else reading the thread, I'd like to note HPN's nicotinamide riboside has been effective for me and remains so. I'm glad to see a deal and would recommend them.

For the sake of full disclosure, nicotinic acid seems to do a fair job of raising NAD+ as well, even better in the liver than NR. However, I have been taking NA for a long time and never experienced any things NR users have. Could be one heck of a placebo effect, but who knows.... I am siding with it doing something else that NA does not.

This graph directly implies that NA is able to raise NAD levels in muscle cells, which some study supposedly shows is not possible, that NA only works in specific cell types that precludes brain and muscle.

I've been taking this off and on the past 2-1/2 years, after running across the personal experiences thread here. Dosages ranged from $500mg to, on occasion, 4g, all with somewhat inconclusive results.  But hope springs eternal, and having looked around at the current offers, this still seems like the best deal.

 

I've also taken high dose niacin and niacinamide intermittently for four decades, along with almost every other supplement there is.

So 1 bottle a month is what i need, $300 is 3months
