I already bought but I've been testing the website to see when the code will expire. It didn't take the code twice tonight but it finally did on the third try. So it appears to still be active . . . and it pays to beat on the door entering the code more than once. So we are in uncharted waters guys, well beyond our discount period. When this discount peters out someone please inform the thread, please!

Here is what I think is happening with the codes, lc3 working for the 3 bottle orders and the longecity14x is working for the 12 bottle orders, although I had to run the code twice before it reported the discount, so don't take no for an answer. The longecity14 code has expired. So as of this moment the 3 and 12 bottle discounts are running.

 

The 3 bottle option was an anytime option for longecity members. The 12 bottle option should have expired. Maybe they kept it alive for the volume customers, maybe its a mistake, I won't say anything if you don't.

Two points.

 

(1) I think the british ebay offering is better value... here's why:

 

With the HPN product the serving size is 2 capsules.. which yields 250mg.

So that means each capsule contains 125mg.  There's 30 caps per bottle.

 

So 3 bottles X 30 caps X 125mg = 11.25 grams.

So what's the price per gram ?

 

109.84  / 11.25 =  $9.76 per gram.

 

How does that compare to the british ebay offering ?

 

151.00 / 22.5 =  $6.71 per gram.

 

How much cheaper is the British ebay offering ?

1 - (6.71 / 9.76) = 31% cheaper

 

or.. if you prefer, how much more expensive is

the HPN product:

(9.76 / 6.71) - 1 = 45% more expensive.

 

I'm happy to be corrected.

Feel free to double check my calculations 

and assumptions.

 

(2)  Surely, there are some folks out in China, India or Thailand

that would be happy to synthesise NR.  I wouldn't mind

betting they'd be happy to offer us better prices than

$9 per gram, or $6 per gram.

Probably more like $10 per kilo.

 

Presumably,  most people are thinking of taking this stuff

for the long term.... years.. maybe decades.  At between

1/4 and 1/2 gram per day... day after day.. after day.

It's going to get really expensive.

 

China isn't subject to western drug patent laws.

So what do Chinese longevity enthusiasts do when they

want to stock up on NR ?

 

Does anyone know of an Asian supplier of NR  ?

Perhaps a chem manufacturer or Research Chems supplier.

Your math is a bit flawed because HPN gives you 60 capsules per bottle.

 

Both LCR and HPN deliver 7.5 grams per bottle. You can look at it as 30 capsules for LRC * .250mg or as 60 from HPN * .125 milligrams pre bottle. Either way it comes out to 7.5 grams pre bottle.

 

So that is 7.5 grams per bottle * 3 or 22.5 grams total for 3 bottles.

 

Now lets divide by price, HPN is $109.84 / 22.5 grams or $4.88 per gram

 

Now lets look at the LRC offer at $151 / 22.5 grams or $6.71 per gram

 

= ( | 6.71 - 4.88 | / ((6.71 + 4.88)/2) ) * 100 

= ( | 1.83 | / (11.59/2) ) * 100 
= ( 1.83 / 5.795 ) * 100 
= 0.315789 * 100 

= 31.5789% difference

 

So the HPN LongeCity offer is cheaper by almost a third.

 

Also to date no one has found an Asian source that holds up to testing. Nothing harmful found "yet" mostly NAM or Ribose or a combination of both.

 

Here is the thread where you can talk about untested sources. Most have given up on Chinese sources but not all. This thread is for the verified lab tested HPN offer made to our group in 2014.

As you browse that thread you'll see it was started by PWAIN and he was the one who initially got the discount going but at some point stopped calling HPN, then I picked it up and made the call because I ran out of NR. You'll see as you comb those pages people looking for other sources.

 

There was another thread started by 3AlarmLampscooter I'm sure you'll find a lot more there but so far there is no other verified source than ChromaDex. I know it sucks. Its a buyers beware world out there, so find a lab and get your samples tested because a lot of these operations will tell you one thing and sell you another. Good luck.

I was in discussions with a very good Chinese manufacturer and he bowed out after investigating that situation.

Got an update on the new 200 capsule bottles. September is the target date   they are going to start making these jumbo packed bottles and get them ready. I tried the longecity15 discount code today and I don't believe it worked properly.  Total came out to $229.92 for 6 bottles. Discount code longecity15 resulted in a $20 discount.  By my math $229 for six bottles works out to about $5.11 per gram.
