My challenge to the skeptic community to post a picture of a rock that looks like a bone is for earth rocks because those could be definitively checked out to see if they are bones or rocks. Insulting me just highlights their failure to present any evidence for their unproven theory the rocks can look so much like bones. The challenge remains unfilled.
You have this backwards. You are the one with the unproven theory that there is a thigh bone on Mars based off of a picture that you have only seen from a single angle. It is your theory that there is either massive incompetence on the rover team at NASA, a coverup, or whatever other thing you come up with. It isn't my job or anyone else's job to comb through all the rocks on earth to find one that looks similar just to satisfy your nonsense.
Cosmicalstorm earlier asked why NASA didn't use the bone to up their budget. NASA follows orders from above to hide or obscure certain things. It's not up to them. They probably overlooked the bone or there's a leaker, or there can be a slow release of the truth about space. Simple human error is the most likely explanation. The government makes mistakes all the time, including in their cover ups/covert ops.
Do you work for NASA or even know how we operate? What magical entity do you think issues orders to cover up bones on Mars? There are no bones on Mars, period. If we do find bones on Mars, they won't be free floating bones on the surface, they will be fossilized remains much like you find here on earth from when the planet had a real atmosphere and seas/lakes/rivers. You reallyhave no idea what you are talking about.
There are some very poor arguments on the skeptic side, and lot of personal insults, last resort of those with no evidence. Anyone on the clock here?
Again, you are confusing things. The only person here making claims without providing evidence is you. Worse, the things you are saying are outlandish, and to be blunt, silly.
Do I understand correctly that the skeptics central argument is that the government never lies or makes mistakes?
The government makes mistakes all the time and in fact, I would label many functions and groups within the government as being grossly incompetent. The government blatantly lies at times to its people. Nobody living in the United States with a clue can challenge that. However, in this case, the only mistake being made is by you insisting that there is a thigh bone, not a bone encased in rock as a fossil, but a free floating bone on the surface of the planet. You are wrong.
That's your argument?
