Hello, i created a topic in schiozphrenia forum, but i thought create a topic here isn't a bad idea ! ( first i'm french so excuse me for my bad english) so here is the old post : "having some schizophrenic symptoms following consumption of a lot of drugs of all kinds, a doctor prescribed a drug called "Risperdal."

But having seen all the possible side effects I decided to find alternatives and delayed as much as possible taking this drug, so I took supplements as theanine, sarcosine ginkgo without much success.

I then found a page http://schizophrenia.com/?p=336

that indicates the drugs being tested for the disease, among these, a category called "P10 inhibitor" intrigued me.

So I searched to see in some websites to see what substances might counter this property, and so do not expect that pharmaceutical companies market their medication, I first came across this page

en.wikipedia.org200px-Papaverine2DCSDS.svg.pngPapaverine

InChI=1S/C20H21NO4/c1-22-17-6-5-13(10-18(17)23-2)9-16-15-12-20(25-4)19(24-3)11-14(15)7-8-21-16/h5-8,10-12H,9H2,1-4H3 Y Key:XQYZDYMELSJDRZ-UHFFFAOYSA-N Y Papaverine /pəˈpævəriːn/ (lat. papaver, "poppy") is an opium alkaloid antispasmodic drug, used primarily in the treatment of visceral spasm, vasospasm (especially those involving the heart and the brain), and occasionally in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. While it is found in the opium poppy, papaverine differs in both structure and pharm...

but the side effects seemed to be almost worse than current antipsychotics, and after much research I finally came across this page:

en.wikipedia.org 1180px-Tofisopam_structure.svg.pngTofisopam

InChI=1S/C22H26N2O4/c1-7-15-13(2)23-24-22(14-8-9-18(25-3)19(10-14)26-4)17-12-21(28-6)20(27-5)11-16(15)17/h8-12,15H,7H2,1-6H3 Y Key:RUJBDQSFYCKFAA-UHFFFAOYSA-N Y Tofisopam (Emandaxin, Grandaxin, Sériel) is an anxiolytic that is marketed in several European countries. Chemically, it is a 1,2-benzodiazepine. Unlike other anxiolytic benzodiazepines (which are generally 1,4- or 1,5-substituted) however, tofisopam does not have anticonvulsant, sedative, skeletal muscle relaxant, motor skill-impairing o...

This is a drug designed to Hungary or Bulgaria and is not greatly known from science, originally meant to be an anxiolytic, it is likely that it can be used as an antipsychotic for the same mechanisms of actions certain drugs under development.

I expected that my account on a website named (http://www.brandmedicines.com/) is validated for purchase and I will share this experience afterwards!

And the new post : "I finally received the famous Tofisopam a few days ago, so I decide to stop risperdal I was taking (at low dose) , and frankly I feel that it's the same job that risperdal, it is also perfect as an anxiolytic , it does not make me necessarily more social , it just makes me feel some mental clarity, I can once again smoke marijuana without becoming pyschotic, yet only positive I will will keep you in touch to see if it is still as effective ! an interesting link there http://jpet.aspetjou.../2/574.abstract about pde10a regulation of dopamine and glutamate !

2 years ago it made me dull or aphatic respectively, though I´m not schizophrenic.

I became in the meantime depressed and when I took it, it releived it.

All in all, I would say for a (more or less^^) normal guy, its not that overwhelming.

If Youre interrested in PDE4:

Look into Green oat extract (brand name: neuravena) and kanna = Sceletium tortuosum (brandname: Zembrin)

Both are PDE-4 inhibitors and perhaps others too.

Neuravena is also a reversible mao-b inhibitor, whereas Kanna is a SSRI although short acting (10-30min)

Hi, first of all thanks you for the reply !

I know there is some PDE4 inhibitor but what i was looking for is more the PDE10a because it was the one which was in the study i have read, and it's been almost one month that i use tofisopam and my thoughts about it is that it's a nice anxiolytic (but i didn't use others products to compare it like benzodiapines), it does not made me necessarily  more social or anything, it's more like i don't give a shit about what other people could think about me and i feel kind of more confident, i take it when i go out for partys or things like that and i see a clearly difference.

After, for the schizophrenic part, i must admit i don't really know if it can replace antipsychotic, i used again risperdal but at low doses and everything is going great for the time

Zembrin inhibits PDE10A + 11A to 50% at 750 Mug/ml, whereas PDE4A+B+C were to 100% inhibited. PDE 2 to ca. 30% and PDE 3 to arround 80%

Dont ask me how much 750 microgramm / ml is.. You have to calculate the absorbtion/Bioavailability & etc

Zembrin is a blended extract of Sceletium tortuosum = Kanna

About psypharm.com;

Well I honestly cant tell if they are legit, as I never received their package. I did receive a 50% refund.

I believe they ship from Russia.

Allthough a little bit more expensive, Ive had good experiences with rupharma, shipping was quick. Allthough tofisopam is not listed for sale on their website, im sure if you contact this him by email, he would be able to get it for you.

Where does brandmedicines.com ship from? Did you had a good experience with it?

Yes I had allways good experiences with them. They ship from Bulgaria which is good for me.

The problem is that I cant recieve anything outside the EU..

Btw: gerovitalshop could be an alternative to brandmedicines, just ask them.
