Thank you Sanhar for your thoughts.

The opportunities:

- if each of us would bring every week, in a kind, interesting, catchy way, more of the people

that feel the same like us, our reach will grow exponentially.

there are very many people that feel that death is completely wrong, that death

takes away fully all you have ever achieved and learned, and it does it in an irreversible

way, without a second chance. that death is like an eternal sleep without feelings,

emotions or dreams, and that is truely the most terrifying thing ever

- a majority of people waste their lives and their money spending in casinos,

fast food restaurants, cheap entertainment (computer games)or on prostitution.

If people reallocate their financial resources into combating and putting an end

to involuntary death, then  they can enjoy everything else for a very long time

(as long as they wish to).

The challenges that we must fight against:

- procrastination

- waiting for others to do it (this is probably the worst, because it means that you

only let your life and you being alive in the hands of others who

maybe do not care about you)

- so many people see deaths everyday in newspapers, that they become numb or

indifferent to death

The key is in understanding the way humans think and operate.  While it would be great if we could convince them to by and large devote their money to living longer there are too many obstacles in the way, not the least of which are all the other forces in the world that want their money and attention - people don't really waste their money in a strictly voluntary manner, they're goaded into it by advertising and other forms of persuasion.  As such our voice is one versus many others and while we can win versus a few because of the nature of what we're striving for - life - we can't win them all.

This is not as bad as it sounds however.  In exercising leadership we CAN get people to focus some of their attention and funds towards our goal and that would be a very good thing.  Also, the more people do it the more others will join in as that's the nature of humanity too.

We must be a louder voice, a brighter view, a better message than some of what else is out there.  If we can do that, and we can, we will succeed and every person who exercises leadership in the manner stands a good chance to make a difference.

Yes you are right, it may be that I am revolting now, but  I simply cannot even understand how there can be any persons in the world which

can be indifferent to the amazing gift of being alive, and how important this is, and how once somebody lost his life

usually because a disease related to the disease of aging, unfortunately he never in the eternity

does not get a second chance to live...

I am only thinking now that maybe realization of the truth of how important is life extension and putting an end to aging

and involuntary death, is making some people anxious or sad or depressed because of the subject involved.

Most people do choose to ignore subjects about health until it is too late, and only then they swear they would

do everything to get another chance, only when it is much too late.

Maybe this creates a level also of becoming jaded, but still the goal of putting a stop to all the suffering

and the mass murder caused by aging (which kills hundreds of millions of humans every year)

is far too important to just sit into a sad waiting.

Can we make a group and take positive action?

If you want to create change, you have to understand where people are at now.   There are plenty of people who are indifferent to the amazing gift of being alive, or suicide wouldn't be as important a cause of death as it is.  However, they aren't the issue.  The issue as I see it is that there is a deeply embedded part of the human psyche and human culture that comes directly from the inevitability of death by aging.  We are now proposing to change that, and that is a BIG change.  I don't think it's a hyperbolic to say that this is the most fundamental change in the history of humankind.   A situation like  this will generate a lot of fear.  If you try to impose it on unsuspecting people, they will ignore you at best, maybe decide that you should be killed at worst.  If you really want to create change, this is the reality you have to work with.

I think most people think take aging to death for granted, and don't know anything about the new discoveries that make defeating aging a possibility to consider and fund. Some of that people, when you try to explain them these discoveries:

(1) will not believe you and will not let you explain

or

(2) will not believe you, even if they let you explain (because they lack enough scientific knowledge or by other reasons)

or

(3) will oppose defeating aging, even if they think it has some chance of being possible, for sociological or other reasons (overpopulation, etc.)

or

(4) will consider it possible and desirable, but too difficult to be a reality in their lifetimes

or

(5) will consider it possible, desirable and near term (they are one of us!)

We need to develope strategies for each kind of people. Probably, the higher the number, the easier will be (for example, converting a person from (4) to (5) will be the easiest). We need to move people down the scale.

Here's how you make it work: you don't just tell them.  You have to show them, because showing them is "real" to them.  They may choose to ignore you but they can't do it for the same reasons as usual and many will not in fact ignore you.  Once you have their attention you MUST continue to keep them involved with some kind of plan that is updated and progresses over time.  I am working on such a system right now which I will be announcing in a couple of months or so.

Aside from what system I have, I should give examples of how you show them as opposed to just tell them.  "Telling" and "Showing" both largely involve words but "Showing" means giving them actual examples and compelling reasoning that they can relate to.  Never underestimate the general public's lack of ability to process theoretical and scientific data.  They're not the experts - we are.  We have to give them the info in a means they can understand so we need to realize what they can understand.

1.  Demonstrate how lifespan has already doubled over the past hundred years or so.  A lot of people don't realize that.

2.  Demonstrate how people are living longer than ever with many diseases having been conquered (yes, that's totally related to LE)

3.  MAKE SURE, VERY SURE that they understand that life extension is about BECOMING YOUNGER.  Everyone wants to be young, few people want to be old and with the issues that go with being old.  This is crucial!  Yes, you and I know that the field is still dominated by small-value drugs and treatments that don't do much but I expect that will change in the future.

Trying to tell people "we're working on it" has little meaning.  People normally only believe in results and they're not interested in scientific advances that are virtually certain to lead to near-term results.  You can talk about the organs that are coming out and that's quite useful, but remember that at this time we still don't have a means to de-age stem cells so freezing stem cells earlier in life is still very important (fresh but old organs is better than broken down but old organs but younger organs are better still).

Frankly, the entire field is moving very quickly and is being aided by advances in computing, 3-d printing and who knows what else.  Money saved in other areas due to essentially unrelated technologies could end up being put into research.  That's another reason why we need to get people on board now so that that money does indeed go to useful research.

In all cases simply remember: everyone listens to a believable, genuine and relatable story.  The storyteller makes the best ambassador.  Are you one?  I am.  Let's remember the keys to communication:

1.  Trust: if people trust you they will listen to you.  To be trusted make them feel you are honest; this means you have to know your stuff very well so that it comes across cleanly and with simple flow.

2.  Open-ness: if people feel you are not hiding something or holding back they are far more likely to listen to you.  Everyone fears the unknown and for good reason.  Avoid giving them the sense that you're trying to sell them something or fool them.

3.  Caring: if you come across as caring about the other person's welfare they are far more likely to listen to you.  The best way to do this is to actually care about them.  This means putting aside any issues you have with them and wanting to truly make their lives better.  If they are strangers that means not judging them in any way and treating them all as valuable people.

4.  Listening: I put this last but it's actually probably the most key.  YOU NEED TO GET THEM TO TALK.  If they express concern about what you're doing then you've accomplished something.  It gives you the opportunity to address that concern, which you must do from a perspective that appreciates their fear/concern.

All in all, get what you can done with each person.  When you meet the point of resistance, let it go.  You may have softened them to what we do and that's probably enough.  The last thing you want to do is make them think you're an enemy or someone out to fool them.

I hope this information is useful.  I note these principles guide my instructional videos; you can find them all in it.  Here's a link to my first one:

Yes I understand that most people accepted to be trapped in all kinds of jobs werethey only slowly

go towards their aging and death, while doing nothing about the research

to stop aging.

They live mostly superficial, in a circle : wake up - go work - go back home through traffic - see TV news with a lot of deaths - put kids tosleep - go to sleep and then again the same

everyday almost.

They leave everything for "later" and procrastinate about the most important things,

until they think it is "too late" and then they are already too weak

and too sick to participate to a change.

The end of aging will happen anyway, andit depends only on us, it is in our hands

to make it happen.

The video that you did is awesome. You took action and this is what matters.

Leave also in the video description

a way for people who believe also in the same way to contact you.

I am also thinking the same way, that first step should be to end aging and aging related diseases,

and then we have as much time as we want to do all the other things we like in life.

Too many of people get trapped simply in what´s written in their biological programming,

and they createall kinds of bullshit lies that they tell to themselves over and overagain

"when I will go to pension

I will travel to see the whole world most exotic places that will be so perfect and beautiful"

People tell themselves so many lies.

Alzheimer and ALS diseases for example are simply taking away the neurons of the old

people, killing their memories, taking away everything from them, leaving them paralyzed,

taking every breath of a good life away from them.

And these diseases also as so many other aging related diseases

are a "death sentence" and those who get it, it is usually very sudden.

Most people simply avoid this subject because it is painful.

I am grateful that this forum exists and other good people who are thinking like

me exist and they are active.

All throughout my school and university I was the best kid in everything.

I am sure I will never accept any "innevitability" and "acceptance" bullshit lies.

Thank you guys

If done right, I agree.  We need to balance approachability with people taking the movement seriously.

Also in the news, still working on my, I will be making more videos when I'm ready to do it with my own material.
