Root is getting dark again as you can see in the attached pic. I'll turn 36 in April and have 1% grey hair since my early 30s.

I just finished a 500g bag from Plum Flower that I ordered on Amazon. Now I'm using a 1lb bag from Holisherb, both extracts are 5:1 concentrates.

As I recall this stuff is toxic to the liver unless boiled with broad beans or  something for 2 hours, so do look into that.

There is info on it here you should find quite easily with a Google site search.

Nice result though!

(For those who haven't bothered to click the  pic; it shows one hair and its obvious the hair has  a dark root.)

Are you noticing any other effects from it?

PS:

You may want to look into Astragalus, PABA and Rooibos tea too.

C60oo is also showing very promising results.  Sensei has a log going here on it.

I'm concurrently taking Cycloastragenol, Eleuthero, rehmannia, and Goji. About  He Shou Wu, I believe most comercially available extracts come ready for consumption.

Ah; well that changes the picture: Were you taking the other supps before starting HSW and the HSW made the difference?
I would make sure about your extract?

Yeah most HSW products come pre-boiled. However there have been a few reports of liver toxicity in the past few years - I would just assume that these are either from contaminated products coming from China, or HSW exacerbated an already overwhelmed liver, or some combo therein. In TCM, it is said to be a liver purifying herb, but should be avoided by those with "liver heat", aka a toxic or otherwise suboptimal liver.

I myself have been using good HSW extracts for a few years now and have only noticed benefits, though I haven't yet had a blood panel done. Hoping to do so in the near future.

Glad you're seeing results OP  ;)

been taking Cycloastragenol on and off again for the past couple of years. The other herbs, Goji and Rehmannia, supposedly all help with grey hair as they're blood and Jing tonics.

I've been in love with TCM herbs for a while. I've fixed a digestive condition that I had using a herb called Cang Zhu, but also love the energy lifting properties of Astragalus as well as the circulation boost that you get from Eleuthero.
