Hi all,

I've been on zopiclone for insomnia for 2 years. 7.5 mg the entire time, along with 30 mg of melatonin. I sometimes use valerian, GABA, and phenibut--maybe once per week each.

I'm looking to get off of zopiclone in the future. My sleep issues seem to be neurological, possibly with an autoimmune origin. It began with an EBV infection. I also use selegiline in the daytime for muscle twitching that seems related.

My sleep specialist recommended silenor as a sub for zopiclone, but it doesn't seem to work at all. Ambien seems to work but I'm not sure it'd be any better.

I've been cutting my zopiclone tabs to roughly 3/4 size. My sleep seems affected but I'm just getting by.

Questions:  Can I combine zopiclone with silenor?  I'm thinking of reducing my zopiclone further and subbing 3 mg silenor.

Can I take GABA or picamilon safely with these drugs?

If taking GABA with niacin/B6, does it create the same effect as picamilon?

Thanks kindly.
